Worked pretty good for my first attempt at making bulk substrate. Had a very low contamination rate and only lost 2 of 8 bags and actually experimented with 2 of the bags by not PC them and only lost one bag and out of the other 6 I'd cooked only lost one. Wasn't exactly using the best sanitation method either and didn't have a SAB. Tried to use equal amounts in each bag, but 2 are mostly browned over, 2 are just popcorning and 2 were so under myceliated I broke up and reshook. It's March 22nd and I'd only inoculated them on February 7th. I definitely consider any problems to be the result of my tek.

Really great spawn for the cost. The mushrooms turned out great. There was no contamination in the bag. I would definitely buy again.

I didn’t have any luck growing this. I mixed the spawn with sawdust, wood shavings, and some straw into a 5 gallon bucket with about 12 one-inch holes. I kept it in our unfinished basement near the door opening so there would be plenty of oxygen. I wet the mixture until it was damp throughout and hung the bucket in the air. After 4 weeks there was zero growth. I don’t know what I did wrong.
