Lightweight unit.
Nice unit ,works well and quite lightweight and no power cord to pull around , never had a strimmer where the cut line feeds through when you tap it on the ground and this one is just the same so pull I it through manually.

Lightweight and effective
Very happy. Super easy to use. Very safe to use. Way better than my old wired trimmer.

Small garden trim
Great product easy to use doesn't use much battery on newly laid lawn, struggles a bit on thicker weeds In overgrown areas but then it wasn't designed for those areas.

Light and easy to use
Was after a new strimmer to upgrade from an old corded one. This was a favourite due to already having Makita batteries. Was easy to setup and easy to use. Strong and accurate. Not a large garden and tasks not too demanding so job done with ease. Very pleased.

Makita DUR193z works perfectly
Bought a gtech strimmer last year that fell to bits internally after a seasons use. Decided to buy one of the best makes from experience. So already had batteries and charger. Makita 'strimmer' delivered quickly and simply put together. Slid on battery and tried. Wow, can you feel the difference. Lots more power, oozes quality and most importantly cut the grass round the trees and along the wall. I should have known better and not purchased a toy before. Finally it is made in Germany not China, says it all.

Powerful
Much better than a wired Bosch strimmer that it replaced. Surprisingly lightweight, but very powerful.

Excellent tool worth the money
As most makita tools this brilliant but only reason it for me loses a star is a lot of other manufacturers of strimmers have a wheel on the guard which gives a perfect height for trimming the lawn edges & gives a perfect line to the lawn edge. My line keeps breaking & the line of my lawn edge looks like I’ve had a drink or two, makita could easily make a guard with a wheel if they do I’d buy it
