This makes it very easy to stay consistent and track workouts.
I finally took the leap during Amazon Prime days. (First of all, the delivery and set up was absolutely seamless, and took about an hour. Plus they hauled all the boxes away. Wonderful. My communication with Amazon was easy and direct and the set-up folks absolutely knew what they were doing. ) What I've found, after setting my online presence to "private" is that the sheer variety of classes -- some as short as 5 minutes -- is a wonderful WFH break. Its pretty easy to commit to 20 minutes on the bike if all you have to do is put your shoes on and turn on the bike. So far, I've done bike workouts, walking (outside) workouts, weights and yoga. I have been a long time cyclist so I am comfortable with cleated shoes. There are lots and lots of after-market accessories for these bikes and I recommend a few: buy non-Peloton shoes for half-price. You can get them with cleats already installed for $55. You don't need $120 shoes for indoor cycling. Get a gel seat cover for a more comfortable ride. Get a small fan you can mount to your handlebars. And there are heartrate monitors for a more exact reading than your watch. Oddly, the Peloton monitor did not connect with the program, but a much cheaper monitor did. Connects just fine with my Samsung S25 phone and ring. The huge variety of instructors will almost guarantee that you'll find a good match, and the Peloton app has lots of other options for exercise, meditation, stretching, runs and weight classes. For all that, the app easily replaces my gym membership. For the shoes sceptics: it may take a few times to get used to clicking in and out of cleats, but they are really the best way to transfer power from your legs to the bike. They become intuitive quickly. ( Cleats transfer power on both the down stroke and the upstroke. Cages aren't as efficient, and "regular " shoes and pedals lose the upstroke power. You will get stronger using cleats ) A year later (July 2025): The bike itself is still working great and I still think this was one of the smartest purchases I made all last year. At 72, I'm never going to top a leader board but I can definitely see a difference from a year ago. And while I thought I would set the bike on a program and then just watch a movie on television, I still find the classes entertaining and motivating.

Amazing indoor exercise during colder months in New England.
The Peloton Indoor Exercise Bike has truly transformed my fitness routine, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. This bike is not just a piece of exercise equipment; it's a comprehensive fitness experience that has exceeded my expectations in every way. First and foremost, the build quality of the Peloton bike is exceptional. It feels sturdy and durable, providing a stable platform for intense workouts. The sleek design adds a touch of sophistication to my home gym, making it a focal point rather than an eyesore. The real standout feature of the Peloton bike is its interactive and immersive classes. The wide range of live and on-demand classes, led by motivating instructors, has kept me engaged and motivated. The variety of workouts, from high-energy spin classes to scenic rides, ensures that there's always something for every mood and fitness goal. The 22-inch HD touchscreen display is not only crystal clear but also user-friendly. Navigating through classes, tracking my metrics, and competing with friends have become integral parts of my workout routine. The integration with the Peloton app adds even more flexibility to my fitness journey. The bike's resistance levels are challenging yet adjustable, allowing me to tailor my workouts to my fitness level. The quiet and smooth operation make it a pleasure to use, even during early morning or late-night sessions without disturbing others. While the Peloton bike is an investment, I can confidently say that it's worth every penny. The community aspect, combined with the cutting-edge technology, has made my fitness journey more enjoyable and effective. If you're serious about your fitness goals and want a top-of-the-line exercise bike, the Peloton is the way to go. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to elevate their home workout experience. 🚴♂️💪

Do not buy from peloton website! Buy from Amazon!!!
First of all. What can I say about Amazon, you get it next day and don’t have to wait two-three weeks for delivery! I originally ordered it from the peloton website and they said it would take two weeks to get there. So I was mad. Waited a week and peloton website could not deliver it the next day. So I cancelled my order with peloton and went with Amazon. Amazon has next day shipping and a 90 day return policy instead of the 30 day pelotons own website offered. Make sure you select the very last option for delivery which is the professional delivery and assembly at a room of your choice option. Upon delivery, they followed my instructions perfectly and set up the bike In the room I wanted. They room out all the cardboard and were very nice and professional. They even put the custom Favero Assioma power meter pedals that I had ordered on. The bike was ready to go after updates. Performance: configuration of the bike was super easy once you look up how you do it on YouTube. You don’t need the calibration tool. Just do the 1/4 turns and follow the rest of the instructions. The favero duo pedals work very well with the peloton app once they are configured to. The fact that I can load up zwift on my iPhone and pair it with my new pedals on my peloton bike and it saves the settings is an A++ in my book. You do have to pay for the membership to start the bike, but it’s worth it. Not super noisy and not as big as I imagined it to be. One thing to note, if you want to use this for zwift it will not work on their monitor. You have to use an external iPhone or iPad and pair your power meter pedals to that. Then it will work. Overall Amazon is A+ love the bike and the quality. They need to go with another third party delivery service for their own website. It should not take 3 weeks to order from the official website.

I was debating buying a Peleton for a while, the cost was really holding me back. But, prime day come along and I got a $500 discount on this bike, so I snatched it up immediately. Refurbished bikes on their website are more expensive than what I paid. I'll be honest, I was concerned that it wasn't Peleton delivering it, as they also do the whole set up.. but amazon delivered it on time, the box wasn't damaged at all which was a relief. All the parts were inside the box neatly. Nothing was broken, everything was there. It took me around 2 hours or so to set up. The box has a home assembly kit with tools and all the screws you need (with a baggie of extras!) The setup was not hard at all, just time consuming. The build quality of the bike seems VERY solid also. It is quite a compact bike, I don't have a large amount of room in my apartment but the peleton fits very well. Overall, I'd say it was a great purchase! Although I'm not sure I'd spend the original price for it of $1845 CAD. If you're not in a rush but you want the Peleton, I'd definitely recommend waiting for another amazon prime day as the sale is just too good to pass up!

The Peloton is so worth it. Especially at the Black Friday price I got this for at $1370 + tax. Great for beginners/someone who needs guidance (me lol) and really helps you stay on track while having a great time. It is challenging - so don’t think this will be easy.. but you’ll feel amazing when you complete a class! Keep in mind there is a monthly subscription fee of $55 a month to be able to use these classes .. but do it you will love it!! Also— Amazon does not assemble this for you so make sure you have someone strong to help you. It is super heavy but very easy to put together

My family loves our Peloton, coupled with the Peloton All-Access membership, it is a very good experience. The bike cam quick and was fairly easy to assemble, with an instructional video I was good to go the same day I received the bike (within around an hour of unpackaging and assembly). HOWEVER, to get the full Peloton experience you are paying around $60/month (Canadian Dollars). If you do not want all of the luxuries of Peloton classes/Netflix/Disney Plus you can avoid that cost with a cheaper bike. Without the Peloton programs (and $60/month) I feel the bike is actually not the best purchasing option, the screen becomes heavily reduced in functionality without paying the Peloton subscription fee (you need the all-access pass if you want to fully use the screen and classes). We purchased the Peloton for $1370 (Canadian) during Black Friday sales. The classes, metrics gathered, and functionality of the bike is highly motivating for me, but because of the high subscription fees, I am on the fence as to if it was worth it for me to buy a Peloton bike. If you are okay with shelling out the dough, I feel the experience actually is the best of all of the exercise bikes.

I live in a remote area and Peleton is not able to deliver in our area. This year amazon started to deliver Peleton bikes in our area! Which is amazing (it is a 6 hour drive to get to a city where they sell them). Finally I pulled the trigger, and I am so happy I did! Delivery, but Amazon gave me a 175 dollar refund! Which was great. The box is very heavy had to take it apart in the kitchen to be able to carry it upstairs. Assembling the bike was easy and quick! Bike is sturdy on high carpet, and the screen is wonderful! I thought about buying a knock off version, but so happy I didn’t! The classes are fun and the bike is silent and easy to set to your preference! Happy with my purchase and will continue to ride, maybe one day I will buy a Peleton +

A very sturdy, well- engineered exercise bike. The magnetic resistance beats anything else I've tried; smooth even at high resistance, and the closest to in feeling to riding an actual bike. The bike is extremely heavy, so make sure you have at least two strong people to get it to where you need it once delivered- especially if there are stairs involved. Two problems thus far: the user interface on both the touch screen and their website could use some work- they are sometimes irritating to navigate. The biggest issue I have is that the bike pedals require special cycling shoes with cleats, and the bike is unusable if you do not buy them separately. On top of the already expensive purchase of the bike, the shoes cost me $209 after taxes ($185 before taxes), and I have to wait at least 3 weeks for them to arrive. I purchased a subscription to use their workouts, which costs $55/month, and I will not be able to use the bike for most of the first month as I am waiting on the shoes. If amazon has the shoes in your size, you may be able to get them sooner, but I had to purchase mine directly from Peloton. If you order the bike, get the shoes right away, and wait until they arrive to register for the subscription. Lastly, just after purchasing my Peloton bike, I recently discovered allegations that Peloton attempted to coerce podcaster Theo Von into not having a guest on his show by threatening to withdraw their sponsorship. This is a practice I am deeply opposed to, and if it turns out to be true, i may cancel my subscription and sell the bike (a return of something this heavy would be impossible). If this is something you care about, consider this before making your purchase.
