There's no connection - it's just a tap . You might be able to stuff the blunt end of a hose on it, as there is a bit of a ridge on the tap but there's nothing really to hold it on. Also, it's not meant for a hosepipe, as you haven't got a head of water i.e no real pressure - so you'd need a pump! And anyway 100 litre is only 20 watering cans, so it would last about 5 minutes. Can be pushed on with a bit of effort but how secure is not clear as I have not tried

cut the melted plastic out of the way but be carefull not to make the hole to big or the tap will leek
