STURDY 1020 TRAYS! NO LEAKS. PRICELESS!
I ordered one set of the 1020 plant trays, they arrived today, a day early! The trays are sturdy and well designed with raised tracks on the bottom allowing optimum water drainage from the pots. I am working with a temporary "greenhouse" in the garage for the next month or so. I have already seen water in places it shouldn't be. I dried up the mess today, placed all the pots into the trays and was relieved to see dry counter tops again. Some of these trays are holding large terra cotta jugs or pots. While rearranging the space today I was able to carry four to six plants in each tray placing my hands underneath for support. The trays remained rigid, didn't crinkle or crack or twist and fold like some aluminum and thin plastics. The 1020 trays are not designed to hold heavy weights nor is it recommended. However, I was impressed and pleased with the trays ability to stand up to the misuse. I took photos and rechecked everything before starting this review. All is well and dry. Water that has drained from the pots into the trays remains in the trays. No leaks! I am ordering 2 more sets.

Does the trick
I'm using these to put small pots in for cuttings I'm starting. They hold 15 pots of 4" diameter. Another thing I'm using them for is making sprouted fodder for my 6 chickens. It was fairly easy to drill the drainage holes. While they are somewhat sturdy, they are not heavy duty and will flex if not supported very well.

No complaints
Nice trays at a fair price.

Good but not great
The trays are just fine but a little less sturdy than I would have preferred. What I really mean is the plastic is too thin, and when lifted full of plants will bend slightly. I have a feeling in time this will become a problem, about 5-10 years from now. I guess I will find a sturdier product or have to replace later on. For now, it is working.

Dimensions are OUTER, not inner
These are reasonably sturdy, priced nicely, and worked perfectly with the six-pack trays I got last year. However, everyone needs to know that the listed width and length dimensions are the outside dimensions, not the inside. It can make a difference. In my initial use (with 6-pack start trays), I was so pleased with these drip trays, I bought more for my second use this year -- a 3x6 grid of larger square pots. The square pots are each 3.5 inches square at the top. Doing the math, that is a pot grid size of 10.5 inches x 21 inches -- perfect fit in the 11x22 tray! Nope. The INNER width of the drip tray is slightly less than 10 inches and the inner length is 20.5 inches. So, I guess the lesson is, these drip trays are good, but you need to make sure your different parts are compatible, sizewise. And, hey manufacturer, be clearer about the dimensions. UPDATE: I've decided it's the fault of the larger square pots that they don't fit in the standard 1020 tray -- I just got some other square pots that fit perfectly in a 3x6 grid. So, these drip pans are not the problem -- they are very good.

Get's the job done
These are not the sturdiest trays on the market but are definitely great work for the price. I use these for my seedlings and to cart plants from this table to that. I love that I didn't have to break the bank to get what I need. As my business grows I may get some "extra strength" but will still be using these. I don't see why they won't last a long time if properly cared for.

I wanted "sturdy" trays
While alot of reviews say that these are sturdy trays, they are NOT. They twist when you go to carry plants/seedlings. They haven't cracked for me yet but I have only been using them for a couple weeks. I wanted sturdy trays to carry my Seedlings as they grew. While so far the size is good, I expected sturdier trays.
