Good Fuel Filters

great value , easily view clear plastic, seems to hold up to vibrations, rattles.

Installed on my John Deere standup mower about 5 months ago. It was the last mow of the season here in Florida. So the mower sat until March. This filter was installed between the tank and fuel pump, away from sunlight and most of the engine heat. The mower is used only once a week in season and I run only Non-ethanol fuel. During my last mow, the engine stalled. I checked the gas - OK. moved on to look at the filter and saw the plastic cracked and disintegrated. Luckily my mower was not "gravity fed" (tank above the engine). Possible reason? My mower actually has to "suck" the fuel from the tank below it. I think possibly the "pulsing" of suction from the fuel-pump may have had something to do with it. Regardless I would not trust these fuel filters.

These filters are better than the filters I can get at my local parts store for a lot less money. The only reason I am rating these 4 stars is that the hose clamps that come with these are too big for the 5/16 fuel line.

These filters are pure crap.didnt last 45 minutes and the filter element came loose in the body.No filter action when the element is rattling around in the canister.Three out of four failed...
