Excellent product! The best thing was that it reached with in 2 days, appears to be a genuine HP product manufactured in China. Single, battery included. The information on the product specification sheet in all the languages and the pictorial representation of how to start the mouse is very helpful. Very easy to install. The size is full in length and breadth, but height is less (compared to the wired mouse that I have). Initially it appears to be very fragile, but it is not for using muscle power, it is for office work on laptop, for which it is appropriate. Light weight also. Cursor response etc also real-time and excellent! Look is also excellent! Overall its an excellent product! Smooth functioning. Noise is ok, no issues. Comfortable to use. Quality product, ease of wireless, ease of use. Worth the money

Conclusion: A very good value for money. Pros: 1) Price. Some of the Bluetooth mice are ridiculously priced. This is at a good price point. Since most of these mouse manufacturers do not repair the mouse anymore, just replace it this price point is important. 2) 3 year warranty. Not many manufacturers provide it. All of the PC peripherals manufacturers have a planned obsolescence policy. If the warranty is 3 years then they will only make an item that lasts 3 years. Like VW vehicles. 3) The scroll wheel is good. It serves as a good third mouse button. 4) It is silent. The scroll wheel, click buttons, etc are pretty silent. Cons: 1) There is no pairing button. So no way to put it in a pairing mode easily. There should have been one. 2) The length of the mouse is a good one. It is not like a tiny mini mouse. However its height is not good. It is almost like a pebble mouse. Wish its height was atleast 5-7 mm more. Think of this mouse as a slightly raised pebble mouse. 3) No Software included. Logitech provides software for its mice. So does Dell. HP unfortunately does not. 4) Does not work with iPAD or iPADOS or iphone. 5) Not made in India. Needs to be made in India.

The HP 240 Bluetooth Wireless Mouse works perfectly. It connects quickly and runs smoothly without any lag. The design is comfortable to hold, and the red optical tracking is very accurate. Battery life is good, and it’s great for both work and casual use. Overall, a reliable and affordable wireless mouse from HP.

I ordered this product on Aug 2025 and used it for sometime. Now the mouse is not working properly and on the top of it , I could see the price from Aug till Oct is being half of the price I bought. I called to the customer care and they are telling they do not handle the issue. Am so frustrated and left out no where now I feel the HP product either is duplicate or the customer post sell support is not at all in right place. It’s so frustrating. With being such a brand if cannot provide a fair brand value then there is no purpose of buying such product from a brand who does not even care post sel support and play around with customer’s emotions

I am writing this review immediately after i received the product. These are first impressions for such a premium mouse. I have placed an refund request and thanks to Amazon for honouring it without any questions being asked. Pros: 1. Light weight even with battery is placed. 2. Gets connected without any delay (both the Bluetooth and Wireless) 3. Both the Left and right clicks are smooth. Hardly there was any sound. 4. The compartment for battery and wireless receiver is magnetic which is good in a way. It is easy to remove and put wireless receiver. Cons: 1. It is pricy for the build quality. You can get better mouse for the price. If it falls there are high chances that it will break. I would prefer Dell over it for build quality. 2. The scrolling wheel is tiny, not broad as in images and it makes lot of noise, it is not smooth at all. It is jerky and you will NOT LIKE IT AT ALL. Moreover since wheel is small you have to scroll more. I am returning it for all these reasons. I have placed a refund request which Amazon accepted without any questions being asked. 3. Body size is too small. Hence if your palm is big please do not buy it. It is smaller than my earlier Dell mouse which till now I use to think is the smallest mouse :). 4. The manufacturer's warranty is only 1 YEAR. The SELLER DESCRIPTION OF "3 YEARS" IS WRONG which. I request the seller to please correct it. Overall i will not recommend this mouse to anyone as It is pricy for the build quality, small is size, height is less, scrolling wheel is small, not that broad in size, jerky and noisy. Not sure how people are rating it as 4 and above.

Good quality

Was looking for a mouse that connects to my HP Chromebook 11a (Chrome OS) via Bluetooth and does not need a separate USB Dongle to be plugged into a USB port in the laptop. Also wanted something flattish and sleek which I can fit into my slim laptop bag. This mouse perfectly met those needs. The product was delivered within 12 hrs of ordering. The box contained the Mouse, One piece AA Alkaline cell, Instruction manual leaflet. Product is manufactured in China and imported by HP India Sales Pvt Ltd, Bangalore. On receipt I opened the package, inserted the AA battery, switched on the button at the bottom (see first pic), the red optical sensor light came on and the mouse paired with the "always on" bluetooth of my Chromebook in about 50-60 seconds. Since then, I have now worked with this mouse on my Chromebook for about 15-16 hrs. Very good 1600 DPI resolution and very stable connection. Apart from normal scrolling use, I have done some heavy editing of images in a Linux based Application on my Chromebook and the mouse works fine. Inbetween I have paired the mouse via Bluetooth (there is no USB Dongle) with Core i7 laptop running on Windows 10 and there too the mouse works fine. I am attaching two pics. The first is a pic of the bottom of the mouse since the product description does not have a pic of the bottom. There's just the optical sensor and on-off switch. The second pic shows the mouse with top removed. The top cover has two tiny metal studs (red arrows). When the cover is put in place then the plastic guides (green arrows) accurately positions the cover. The cover is kept in place by the magnets (yellow arrows) holding onto metal studs (red arrows). The cover is kept in place by magnetic force rather than plastic prong clicking into a plastic receptacle. Impressive design and engineering. So far everything positive. Will have to check battery life. One point of improvement, at 11 cm, the mouse is slightly longer than the usual 10 cm for mice in general. But its quite flat and feels ergonomically comfortable. That brings us to the price. Tad expensive at almost Rs 900 (MRP on package says Rs 1600).
