Great product nice plated finish so no rust, removed a broken socket front, how the dickens they got it on in the first place beats me as it was only held in place with one turn of the screw (sunk metal box) these adaptors did the job brilliant and allowed me to use the original screws supplied the new socket, screwed them onto the socket screws and then had plenty of row to line up the screws and re-fit the new front with no hassle great job thanks

Ordered these as I have just tiled the kitchen and wanted to use the original sockets and switches that were already in place. The screws were just long enough to reach the fixings but having cut tiles underneath to H shapes we ended up cracking then twice whilst trying to start the screws and hold the sockets flush. The best option was to go for some extension pieces that could be put in place and then use small screws on the face plate. Works perfectly now and all sockets put on without any more broken tiles. Look great quality as well so very happy all round.

Really pleased with these. Didn't know they even existed, thought I was going to have to return my new switches and socket outlets as they had black screws and I couldn't get the longer length ones without paying lots of money. When I was told about these screw extension studs I had a good look on the usual sites but these were the cheapest so thought I'd give them a try. They're brilliant, good quality and well worth the money hence I have ordered a second batch.

Just had some delivered from N Ireland. Excellent quality and just the job if you want to use the original screws but for some reason ( probably after tiling the wall) they are too short!In my case I'm having to reduce the length of the threaded part because they are a bit too long.I just removed a bit with a Junior Hacksaw with no problem but I suppose it would be wiser to fit it with a M3.5 nut before removing the excess so that as you remove the nut it clears the threads!

These are better in some ways than just using screws of the correct length - for one, if an accessory comes with screws of a colour that matches the wallplate, you can use them. Two, it's a lot easier to screw a screw into these extensions than it is to try and line a 70mm screw up with a tiny threaded hole that you can't see.
