Desperate & questioning your life choices? Order this collar TODAY!
TLDR: Buy this collar and change your life!!!!!! My daughter and her boyfriend adopted a shelter dog 1.5 weeks ago. First day or two, not so bad on leash - but we all know the 3/3/3 rule. By day 3, he was out-of-control pulling and EXTREMELY dog reactive (like HE walked YOU by pulling you down the sidewalk, you didn't walk him!!!) If he saw another dog, he went berserk, even though the shelter had said he was dog friendly and had been in playgroup. They were both terribly sick so I was in charge of dog walking for two nights. I'm used to walking 2 big dogs at a time, but their dog gave me a run for my money!!! I walked him 2 miles each night to try and wear him out, but it was the other way around! I had to keep my legs locked and pull back constantly to maintain control, even keeping him on a short leash did nothing. After the second night's walk, I told my daughter this is crazy, he needs a different collar and found this one. The next day (bless you, Amazon, for quick delivery!) we put it on him and it was a TOTAL GAME CHANGER and he was a TOTALLY DIFFERENT DOG! He tried to pull a little the first time we went outside and quickly stopped. The prongs are covered in rubber so he is not getting hurt (honestly, I would think the way he was pulling on his regular leash and choking himself would hurt!) The next day, my daughter's boyfriend conducted an experiment in the morning because it was too good to be true. Short walk #1 before breakfast with the Mayerzon collar - perfect dog, walked nice, barely reacted when seeing another dog. Short walk #2 after breakfast with old collar - in his words, "he lost his puppy mind" and was back to previous horrible walking behavior. He snapped on the Mayerzon collar and immediately back to perfect dog! If I could give this collar 100 stars, I would!

Well made and effective
Excellent quality and function. I particularly like the safety feature on the clasp. And because it is a full martingale, with prongs added, there is no danger of the collar falling off because a prong got bent! And the small prong size provides the greatest personal advantage to the handler. I leant it to a student last night and she was very pleased.

Highly Recommend!
Excellent collar. Great Pyr responds well to it, no issues with it hurting him. Only issue is sometimes the prongs get stuck in his mane, and when we peel them out we loose a cap. But, easy enough to pop them back on!

Works Great for Heavier Breeds
My 93 American Staffordshire does very well with this collar, the color is hides and compliments his fur color very well and doesn’t stand out a lot. The hidden prong collar underneath makes bigger dogs appear less intimidating to others and works well for training. The only complaint would be that the collar doesn’t fit exactly how I would like it too making it looser and harder to control.

A TOOL for training
This made a HUGE difference. I was almost in tears at the difference. The goal is to use it till he learns not to lunge, and then to retire the collar. Sooo I never thought I'd use a prong collar (I'm a complete softie.) But my 65lb bully mix is waaaaay stronger than he looks, and he loves to chase motorcycles, bikes, even wheelchairs (anything on wheels, really.) One time he pivoted and bolted so hard that I spun around and fell into a cactus...lots of bruises and needles. I decided this is a matter of safety. I would never be able to forgive myself if my dog got hurt or someone on a motorcycle got into a wreck because my dog lunged at their bike. And it's completely unacceptable for him to freak out on people in wheelchairs. He's not actually aggressive, but he comes off as such, and I just cannot allow him to behave that way. I was at the end of my rope, and I actually have cried on many a walk with him. I didn't want to try a gentle leader, because I've heard they can cause neck injuries, and I'm almost certain this would be the case with my dog. I have tried a no pull harness with front and back leash connections, and while it gave me more control when he would lunge, it did not stop the behavior at all, so while I felt better about him not choking himself out, it did nothing to deter him from doing it. I considered sending him to a dog school (but my neighbor told me that he didn't get the results he thought he would, even after sending his puppy to school for weeks.) First I wanted to see if this last ditch effort would work before I spent thousands of dollars. It has, from what I can tell. The first night, within about 5 minutes, THREE motorcycles drove past us. The first time he did what he always does and lunged so hard that he was on his hind legs and barking, but he stopped pretty quickly. The second time he lunged, but with way less effort. The third time he had a reaction, but didn't really lunge at all, just pulled a tiny bit. I was in shock, I couldn't believe it. So I took him out again tonight, and he still pulled a little, but then would stop quickly, so he's still learning how to behave on the prong collar. Now (it seems) I don't have to worry about him lunging at bikes, other dogs, or other people; I feel like a weight has been lifted. Now obviously it will take a little time for all this to become a pattern that will lead to him not needing the collar anymore, but it's really the lesser of two evils in this case. It takes a little work to get the collar in the right spot (snuggly below his ears and higher up on the neck, but not tight, so we're working on that.) The collar seems to be high quality and comes with extra rubber prong covers. Sorry for the novel, but I feel like this collar might help some dog owners. I'd say it's like gastric bypass surgery: it's a TOOL you use to achieve desired results. You don't have to use this thing forever. Just make sure you use this collar CORRECTLY. I even did what many others do and tried it on myself. It doesn't feel good, but it's not excruciating, only uncomfortable when you tug on it. Fingers crossed I can retire this collar soon, but I am so happy to have it for the time being. Game changer.

Great Transitional Collar for Intermediate Dogs
I was really impressed by the Mayerzon Martingale Collar. It’s a great tool for dogs who are past beginner training but not quite ready to be off-leash or fully transitioned to a harness. I’ve found it especially useful as a middle step between the metal training collar and a no-pull harness. It’s quick and easy to put on, which is a huge plus when I’m in a hurry or working with an energetic pup. I’d recommend this collar for intermediate dogs or those needing a reliable, gentle correction without going full prong or relying solely on a harness.

No More Pulling!
Game changer! My 86 pound Doberman loved to take me for a walk. With his new Mayerzon Martinglae Collar, it has made our walks so much more pleasant (I actually walk him now). First, the collar is extremely well made, the reflective stripes are a thoughtful safety feature for our night walks. The concealed prongs make him look less intimidating to others. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to take control of their walks and help ease the training of dog that pulls.

Works good for a 170 lb Great Dane that I rescued and was a fairly big puller initially. Easy to get on and off and I like that it combines the prong type collar but also is adjustable. I find that it does loosen eventually but as he is no longer such a savage on walks it’s more extra insurance for me walking a dog that weighs more than me. The coverage and reflection is also great. Great for walks at night but also doesn’t look as intimidating.

Amazing collar! My dog listens better and does not pull with this one! The prongs are rubber coated and doesn’t hurt her but she knows she better behave with it on!

I did my homework on the concept of what this style of collar does and now understand how it works. The prongs mimic the mothers jaw/teeth and in dog language this corrects negative behaviour. I love that the prongs have a rubber cap on them and the metal isn't directly in contact with my dog. Since using this collar, my dog no longer pulls and I can control him much better when he see's another animal he wants to chase/attack. I would highly recommend this collar as a tool to help make your walks much more enjoyable.
