These definitely float. They hold up my oakleys just fine. They are hard to get over the ear socks. I also wish they were adjustable. I've lost multiple sunglasses in a lake jetskiing even with a strap because they didn't float. I would feel better if these were tighter on my face. I'm happy they float so 4/5☆

Retainer kept the sunglasses on while we were out on the ocean and worked great while we were fishing. No complaints. Functioned as expected.

Waste of money! Don’t buy! I bought two for my husband and me as we were going on vacation with several water sport activities planned and liked the idea that they are supposed to float. Neither securely held the sunglasses even a little bit and slipped off very easily before we even got anywhere close to water. My husband used his and lost his glasses the first time he wore them.
