Merriway BH04066 Plastic Washing Machine Dish Washer Outlet Drain Hose Connector, 17 x 22 mm - White

Needed to extend my washing machine hose. Bought this from Amazon having found nothing like this in my local DIY or hardware stores. The connector has two different sized ends .... 22mm and 18mm. Others I'd seen had two the same size.Absolutely perfect. A very tight coupling, took a fare bit of pressure and twisting but once the 22mm end was securely attached to the end of the drainage hose leading from the machine itself, , the smaller 18mm end joined to my connecting hose with no issues, and this then fed through to my under sink cupboard.Ran a wash cycle with washing machine pulled out, just so I could keep checking the connection, should there be a leak. Also stood a bowl beneath too just in case.This has been a game changer. I can now pull my washing machine forwards thanks to the hose extension, to clean behind it, with no fear of pulling the original pipe off the sink outlet, which was stretched to its maximum.Extremely happy with my purchase and its a good price too.

Had to be sanded down to fit internal dimensions of dishwasher hose. Leaked first time used. Removed & added plumbers mait to joint & a jubilee clip. Success.

Good quality product, unfortunately I did not eventually need to use it as I found another way to connect the washing machine outlet drain.
