My daily moisturizer
I used to use the original Japanese sunscreen formula back in the day, so I was delighted to find that the US version is also a moisturizer. There is a citrus-like scent, but it isn't very strong and quickly dissipates. There is no white cast. I have sensitive skin that is eczema-prone, and this moisturizer doesn't trigger my eczema. This doesn't sting my eyes like other sunscreen/moisturizers that I have tried. It primes my skin well for BB cream or serum foundation. I love that this has a high SPF and is great for everyday use.

Awesome
I wanted to see what all the buzz was about for this product and it did NOT disappoint. It's so creamy and smooth and it does NOT leave a white cast on your skin. It's so hydrating and feels so nourishing it seems to melt in your skin. I'm all for Korean skin care to include the mineral sunscreen, however this product... it's properly amazing. No sunburn whilst using retinol which is very important to me. What a pleasant product.

Works well under makeup!
Smells a bit like cleaner but that didn't bother me. Super lightweight and doesn't disturb my makeup! Like usually by the end of the day the makeup around my nose and mouth is cracked or coming off, but with this stuff that doesn't happen! I'm a pale girly so everyday wear under makeup is important to me. Feels great but don't get it in your eyes. Ouch.

Great product but burns when it gets into the eyes
This product is great and absorbs into the skin beautifully. My only complaint is that if it gets into your eyes due to sweating, it burns.

Can’t compare to the Japanese version
It is better than American facial sunscreens but the Japanese version is better. It smells like rubbing alcohol and takes a couple minute blend into the skin. Despite the alcohol in it, it is very moisturizing and absolutely not for oily skin + hot humid weather. If I recall correctly, the Japanese version blended in much easier and did not feel so sticky. This leaves a moisturized glowy finish on me and feels sticky. My hair sticks to my face from it. Even after applying makeup. It also makes my face slightly red, so it does irritate my sensitive skin. It does not sting my eyes or get into my eyes after sweating or physical activity though. It’s an odd formulation.

No residue
This sunscreen is lightweight, absorbs quickly, and leaves no residue. It protects well throughout the day and feels clean on the skin. Ideal for a polished, low-maintenance routine. Highly recommend.

Perfect fit for my sensitive skin
I suffer from acne, and this sunscreen has been a great choice for me. A friend recommended it, and I love that it doesn’t feel heavy or greasy on my skin. The texture is light and somewhat watery, so it takes a few seconds to dry, but once it does, it feels super gentle and comfortable.I also like that I can easily wear it under makeup without feeling weighed down. The scent is very soft and barely noticeable, which I appreciate since I’m sensitive to strong fragrances.Overall, it’s a great sunscreen for acne-prone skin that provides good protection without clogging pores or feeling heavy

AMERICAN FORMULATION
This IS NOT THE JAPANESE FORMULATION. The Japanese formulation of this product is my holy grail sunscreen. I've loyally purchased 25+ of the Japanese tubes since 2019 on Amazon and I love the Japanese version of this so much, when I heard about the tarrifs, my first thought was to immediately stock up on this product before the next year. So you can see why I'd be furious receiving a dozen bottles of this awful American version, which is completely different (check INCIDecoder for a breakdown). The American version has several key differences. It a) uses completely different UV filters, making the sunscreen heavier and it gives skin a slight greasy white cast, b) has a significantly stronger and headache-inducing fragrance and c) not like it matters, but this cream is a thick white while the Japanese one is a light yellow. The Japanese version acts like a lightweight lotion and, when dry, feels like nothing on your skin, blends almost effortlessly, and provides a nice matte appearance. It barely smells like anything. The American version, however, has 5 different perfuming ingredients added, as if to cover up for something toxic and disgusting. The formula differences are just night and day. It's ridiculous. The name is so misleading--I know they removed 'Watery Essence' in the American branding, but they're basically different products. Given the complete 180 in the formula, this should not be called Biore UV Aqua Rich. This American formualtion also unfortunately unusable for me even if I wanted to use it. I have incredibly sensitive skin and this caused me to break out into itchy hives almost immediately. Thankfully, I patch tested on my elbow crook. At the time of writing this review, the Japanese version costs $3 more a tube on Amazon and $1 more elsewhere. Honestly, how many people purchased this thinking it'd be the Japanese version and were duped into buying this inferior formula? I buy about 10-12 bottles every year or two and while I was able to get a refund, Amazon made it incredibly difficult to do so given that they don't do returns on skincare.TLDR; if you're looking for the Japanese formulation, avoid this at all costs. This product is basically just slightly better Neutrogena with a sickly, awful fragrance. I'll be donating and getting rid of these. What a waste of time and product. Shame on the marketing team for this. Absolute shame.
