RETOCOLOR Aqua 400 35mm Color Negative Film, 27EXP, ISO400, C41-processing, DX-Coded, Retro Color

This retro coloring film was so fun to use and really had some amazing effects! I don't know how I got the 2 pinkish pictures but I love them!!! The rest of the film is must have shot normally because they all were more like the mountain valley picture, with warm tones accentuated and cool tones washed out. All in all this was fun to use for fall colors! Can't wait to try the other retro coloring films they make.

I bought a bunch of different film for my son for Chans this one was his favorite with the results he was looking for.

I loaded up my roll of 400 speed GLOW film and headed to town. Town for me is an old fashioned Main Street town built in the late 1800’s.An old fashioned farm town is ideal for this film. I love how grainy this film is and the colors are muted lending to the vintage look.I was born in the 1960’s and I am quite familiar with pictures from this era. Some of the pictures shot with this GLOW film have that vintage 1960’s feel to them.Even though all the pictures i took are of structures and landscape with buildings I am certain this film can be used to shoot portraits. It truely is a versatile film.Some may complain that this film is overpriced. Being a retired wedding photographer, I have shot pro level film all my life. I am use to spending twenty dollars and more per roll of film. This film is reasonably priced for the uniqueness that it offers.If you want a break from the “perfectness’ of shooting digital then get or borrow a 35mm camera and shoot film!

Used a roll of this film on my trip to California and was very excited to get them developed then was disappointed when nearly half the roll had this odd red stripe down the side and the quality of the pictures seemed liek that of a typical Kodak roll. I don’t think this was a camera issue, as I had 5 other rolls developed from the trip (Kodak gold and portra) and they all came out fine

I can tell without even shooting it that it's pretty meh. It's likely just re-spooled Fuji 400 speed film if I had to guess (what stock exactly I couldn't tell you, but I can all but guarantee that Reto isn't producing it's own film).While I personally quite like the sample images I've seen (both on the listing itself and from what I've googled about the stock), the price for a single 27exp roll is ridiculous. You can get a roll of porty eight hundo for around $3 dollars less than this (or 400 for even less). I can't even begin to justify buying this at around $21 dollars with taxes and fees. It maybe worth half that.
