All I can say is that this is a fantastic invention. My long distance girlfriend and I LOVE our luvlamps. It was so easy to set up and helps us feel connected even when we are so far. It works amazing and she loved it as a gift! Definitely worth the price to feel the connection

The media could not be loaded. I think this is the perfect gift to stay connected with a friend, significant other or family member who is long distance. It’s super cute to play with and I love the variety of colors and message behind the idea of this product. I feel connected even if we may be far away and I love that it can also double as a nightlight if I need it to be!There’s no complicated setup required and it’s really a simplistic design which I appreciate. The design is great and this gift is a must have to stay connected with someone in a meaningful way long distance!

Are you looking for a unique gift for that family member or friend that don't get to spend much time with but is always on your mind? Well, look no further with the LuvLink Lamps. I ordered a set of two for my bestie and me for Christmas. I sent hers to Texas and mine stayed in California.The lamps link to an app on your phone. The main account holder will create a group and send out an invite to join. Then, the invitee joins and main account holder will approve them to join. Once they are connected, you can send and receive a color by tapping the lamp. If you are away from your lamp, your phone or smartwatch will notify you as well. You can send a tap through the app as well.Fast forward to February...I decided to get another lamp for my other bestie. Here is the catch. You must add the new lamp to an existing group. So my taps get sent to the whole group. It isn't a big deal since both my friends know each other, but if you are looking for it to be personal in that respect, you need to know that the lamps all share the same link.All three of us love the lamps. We use them in a place in our homes where we frequently hang out and easy to quickly send a message.Changing the color is easy, just tap and hold until you like the color or designate "your" color.You also have some options in the app to customize.All in all, this is a fun splurge for you and your friends that you can always be with but an alternative to texting.Happy "lamping!"

I got this for my sister for Christmas since we are an hour from each other and don't get to see each other too often, and it is such a cute little device! You can set up color codes with messages that you can send back and forth and it's a lot of fun! We both have kiddos that like to send us messages back and forth as well! It is a cute idea a great way to stay connected to loved ones, but I will say the price point is a bit extreme, which is why I'm only rating it 4 stars. But we both love it and I've found it's worth it for me!

We have these in different states to connect cousins. It's nice to be able to use your phone in addition to the touch of the lamp. The app notifies you of someone touching their lamp in case you aren't in the same room as your lamp, and you can send it back via your phone even if you're not at home!

Directions for setting up very confusing. I am computer savvy, but these directions were not clear. I did get it up and going once, but then it stopped working. It kept telling me to start connection process over, which I did many times without results. Online help (not a live person) didn't answer my specific questions (just gave me general info.). Talking to a live person would have helped, but no option to chat LIVE! I'm not returning these. Instead, giving them to a friend who thinks using them just as lamps is a good idea. They are cute, so my friend can enjoy my expensive purchase as little lamps that could have been bought at a discount store for $10.

Great concept, great when they work. But I've had to factory reset and troubleshoot connection issues with both mine and my girlfriends several times with varying levels of difficulty. Both of us have good wifi and no issues with any other devices. Luvlink is dropping the ball.
