SUNDAY II SUNDAY Root Refresh Dry-Shampoo Alternative, with Micellar Water and Apple Cider Vinegar to Clean Hair and Scalp Between Washes, 8.1 fl oz

Finally! It took some extensive searches to finally find this product! A product made by and for people with “my” hair…that works. I was wearing my hair in braids and the use of the product gv me an addition two wks wear before taking the braids out. I read the previous reviews and did as instructed: do your hair in sections, spray directly where to braid meets the scalp (knotless) and allow the solution to sit for several minutes and then blot with a towel/microfiber towel and repeat the process. I love the light clean scent. I was worried I was going to smell the apple cider vinegar, but I didn’t. It broke down the oil build up and when I sprayed it on my edges, where I hd used an edge control product, it broke down that too! Awesome product. For those saying it doesn’t work, it’s not the right product for your hair. Thank you for such an amazing product! I love the formula and the amazing results!!

I’m religious with this stuff. The brand advertises to mostly textured hair girlies, but I’ve found it’s great for smooth and flat hair also. It gives me a clean slate for sweaty/post-workout hair. I work it into my scalp when needed and it helps my hair feel cleaner and smell better.

Maybe I have the wrong type of hair for this, but it really didn't work for me.

I was really excited about the idea of a more natural alternative to dry shampoo. I hate breathing in the chemicals when I spray it into my hair. However, this did not deliver. First of all, it has a weirdest smell! It smells exactly like an antiseptic wash that we used on my dog's infected paw (gross!). Second, it makes my hair MORE dirty and greasy after I use it. So it has the complete opposite effect of a wash. Did I get a bad batch or does this just not do what it says it's supposed to do?

The vinegar is quite noticeable when you first apply the spray on BUT as soon as your hair dries you don’t smell anything like that. Overall it does a good job and I’m happy with the spray, especially when I’m in a rush and use it real quickly my hair looks healthier with very little being added. It’s not like heavy products that weigh your hair down, it is a little hard to explain the feeling but it’s like you’re giving you hair & scalp a drink it appreciates. I’ve never used anything like this or had my hair genuinely feel healthier for weeks. I use this every few days in between the non wash/condition day as I get dry skin shampooing daily so I apply this on the “skip” days and I still feel clean.

This product is a game changer, and not just for the gym girlies! As a naturalista I use a lot of gels and products in my hair. And the buildup gets real. In between wash days I like to use this in combo with TPH dry shampoo to give my hair a much needed refresh and baybeeee it’s like have brand new washed hair!! I love it so much!!

Ok let me say first that this smells really good. It is in a decent size bottle with a slide locking mechanism on the sprayer. I was really looking forward to trying this. I usually was my hair every three to four days. I am one of those people that my hair doesn't start getting greasy looking until the fourth or fifth day. I shook the bottle like it said and squirted on the top of my head. I used a using a towel to rub in and work through. Making sure every where I squirted I rubbed thoroughly. This says it is a dry shampoo alternative with micellar water and will leave your hair looking, feeling and smelling fresh. I tried other ways at different times like combing through or rubbing through. Each time I used it, my hair looked greasy after. I have natural curly hair. I don't think I will repurchase this. I don't like the way it made me have to wash my hair after using it. I hope you find my review helpful.
