Works well, produces the perfect amount of fan noise for sleep, and makes a noticeable difference in air quality. 10/10

Normally, I'm all for the smell of a dusty old book, but since I moved to a wetter climate it has transformed into a less appealing smell. We all love our cats, but the hair gets everywhere and the litter box will stink up the whole house, but this little guy eliminates all of the book smell, and most of the cat smell.

Pros: I love that it's an air purifier, but I can also point it on me at night and get air flow to keep cool. It was really hard for me to find this combo. All the air purifiers seem to point at the ceiling these days. It can be pointed in one spot only, or it can oscillate. The fan noise is good for blocking out other noises at night, but if you don't want to hear it you can put it on low. My main reasons for buying this is for a steady noise at night (to help block other noises that might wake me) and getting air flow to stay cool. But having an air purifier is also important.Cons: I've read that the filter should last 12 months. But for me, the air filter light came on a little over 3 months. That is a huge difference, and I don't live in a highly polluted place, so I'm not sure why it needs replaced so soon. I've had other air purifiers and this was not the case. We'll see how it goes when I put a new one in, and see how long it lasts. If it's always 3 months, it could be expensive to keep this one operating.Also, mine never had the real-time aqi air quality symbol on the display panel. I only just now noticed that it's supposed to, after looking at the ad again. :(Update: After having this for only a few months, it started making a clicking noise when in oscillation mode. When it reaches the end of one direction it sounds like it clicks / bumps into something before switching to the other direction. This starting keeping me up at night until I got used to it. I only hear it on the low setting. Maybe something shifted inside?

Got this as a replacement for my desk fan, which was dying. Many things to note.1. WAY bigger than I was expecting. It is not a good replacement for a desk fan. This isn't a deal breaker, but it's definitely worth noting. More suitable as a floor unit, which is rather disappointing.2. It essentially has 2 modes. Yes it has 3 fan speeds, but speed 1 is essentially useless and doesn't produce any airflow. Speed 2 is just okay, and speed 3 is REALLY loud. Luckily, I use the fan to sleep at night as a source of white noise, so I'm okay with this, but just keep that in mind.3. I don't think it's ACTUALLY filtering any air, or if it is, it is woefully ineffective. I have 3 full size dogs, they all shed a lot. Despite this, the filter still looks clean, no dust or dog hair to be seen, which is not a good sign. Additionally, when I put my hand up to the side of the unit, I don't feel ANY suction. Maybe I'm misunderstanding the usage of the device, I'm not sure. I've had it running nonstop, will try to update this when it requires a filter change or if something else happens.

This fan is so awesome. It’s well built and looks very stylish. Lots of functional features and it oscillates smoothly. I can manually adjust the vertical pitch and the hinges to hold in place are strong. I LOVE the filter. We use in our room and I have noticed a difference when I sleep. Our dog likes to crawl in bed with us and there was always dog hair flying around all night. The fan is bigger than we expected. It’s just shy of a milk crate’s dimensions. SO SO worth the money (and size) to not have dust and hair flying around when in use.

I see why the bottom was taped together- the latching design of the circular plate meant to hold the filter inside is poorly designed- one must turn it clockwise or counter clockwise to latch/or fasten it but it does not turn far + falls off easily- it should be more secure. The plastic also seems a bit cheap or brittle.The entire unit is heavy & cumbersome- it could have used wheels incorporated somehow. Having a pre-filer which I could rinse off was a key selling point for me but this pre-filter is permanently installed under the rim of the circular internal filter and cannot be rinsed without wetting the main filter- there is no way to thoroughly clean the pre-filter (in the Ad, the diagram gives the impression that the pre-filter is entirely separate on the exterior of the main filter so that one could presumably rinse it off- only considered air purifiers, which had a pre-filter). Because of all these points I am returning the Airmega Aim 2-in-1 Oscillating Fan & True HEPA Air Purifierm + will order a Dyson.

LOVE IT. My son has been sleeping better since we put one in his room, it’s definitely filtering the air. We bought some of these to act as fans and purify our bedrooms. As fans, they move enough air but don’t expect tornado levels of air movement - rather enough to feel the breeze and effectively cool a room with the night air. Completely satisfied with the purchases.

The air cleaning quality is great, the fan puts out a lot of air using it in the bedroom for air movement and white noise. Level 2 is perfect, level 3 is a lot of air. The size is something you need to be aware of saw the measurement but they did not give me the perspective of the actual size used a regular size phone for comparison.
