Meera,Ram and Priya are high school friends who grow apart, after what happens in school. This is a story of what happens in their lives and how they deal with each other when they meet after a long time.there is so much originality in their story.The author etches the characters with so much finesse that you see shades of people you met, nuances of emotions you been through and the thoughts you found difficult to describe, penned, in such simple and elegant prose.'Vanessa' plays out like a movie you would want to watch again.Definitely worth a read.

It was a great experience reading Vanessa. The characters appeared so real.... The narration was so beautiful that one could visualize the whole picture. I really admire the writing styles and critical thinking of Dr Heera .The flow was so good that no one would feel like putting the book down without completing it .No doubt Vanessa is must read for anyone who enjoy reading such beautifully crafted stories.

At first glance, *Vanessa* seemed like a straightforward love story. However, the thoughtful moments of introspection woven into the narrative made it stand out as something truly special.In a world driven by instant gratification, the author's philosophical reflections on everyday life compelled me to pause and reflect, often revisiting certain passages. There’s so much poetry subtly embedded within the prose.I especially loved the vivid depictions of the school, the principal, sports day, and the FACT quarters of the 1980s.I can't wait to read more from this author.

The story leaves readers content, beautifully detailing her feelings from her youth to her womanhood. 'Vanessa' written by Dr. Heera Unnithan was a delight from the beginning and kept me intrigued as the story kept on building. The poetic description of the situations and environment in the book brought back so many FACT days memories for me. The characters were written so meticulously that I wish they were real. Which also leads me to wonder if Heera has indeed referenced a few real ones. With this fascinating search and wonder, I truly enjoyed and cherished my experience reading Vanessa.
