Outstanding!
At first I was a little hesitant to purchase this rice because many were saying it cooked mushy, and there were no clear instructions on the package to cook it. None of this is true! The instructions on the package is very clear on how to cook it? If you follow it, the rice comes out perfect! You must drain it right after cooking and put it in a glass container to keep it from overcooking by putting it back in the pot that you cooked it in.Also, the taste is amazing. There's a video that shows if you salt it good first, it brings out the flavor, and it does. I also added a little bit of chicken broth to mine which enhanced the flavor. It is definitely not too hard. It's a nuce texture, and an excellent replacement for a rice!

Love this stuff!!
This is one of my new favorite high fiber, high protein substitutions for rice! The flavor and and texture is across between rice and pasta. I cook it for about 7 to 8 minutes. It foams up a lot so you need to account for that when you decide what size pot to use. But I think it’s delicious.

Tastes great just way too expensive without a sale
My tastebuds must be very different than anyone else here but this tastes almost like rice. I cooked it in 2 cups of water for a full serving instead of 4, and cooked for about 6-7 minutes. Still a little chewy, so if I cooked for another minute or two longer I’m sure it would be a bit softer. I’m impressed by the texture and taste. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive. Bought during prime day, and would only buy again when it’s discounted.

Great macros and a good carb substitute
This is one of my favorite low carb products. I usually use it to make fried “rice” - I find that adding spices and chicken broth make it much more pleasant to eat. I don’t like it unseasoned so it’s not a great substitute for plain rice, but as fried rice (with some egg) it’s delicious.

Zero taste - mushy texture. Blech.
I had such high hopes for this low carb rice and sadly, after cooking with it twice, even caramelizing onions and using chicken broth, the texture is very undesirable. It's a combination between paste and overcooked guck. Texture is terrible , taste is lackluster even with items added to help support some level of flavor. Now I understand why they sell it only in packs of three. My guess is if you bought it in a single pack, you'd never buy it again. I have 2 more bags of the rice and three boxes of the pasta. I'm putting them on my condo swap shelf. Won't waste any more of my time and energy trying to make this product taste edible.

Nice rice substitute
This is a very nice, easy to prepare substitute for rice. It has a lot of flavor and great texture. The directions for cooking are vague, so don’t over cook or they turn to mush! Beware they are high fiber and can cause gastric bloat and gas! For this reason will not buy again.

Rice not Rice - set proper expectation
On a low-carb/starch lifestyle and missing Basmati and Jasmine rice, I gave this a try. In and of itself, it's nothing to write home about. Taste and texture are unique. For me, it's not rice I would eat plain like I would a basmati or jasmine. However, it does satisfy a psychological craving. I mixed it with onions, tomatoes and spinach and spices.
