A few days ago we had a very intense rainstorm. Unfortunately the power supply was filled with water, and will not turn on even after hours of being in a bag with rice. The water has dried up now but the lights are still not working. I really love these lights. The product is listed as being waterproof. Is it possible to return or purchase a replacement power supply? Thank you!

BUYERS BEWARE: (and I never give one-star reviews). I cannot believe the number of 5 star reviews for this product except that most of them must have been written directly after hanging them. I wonder how many of those would downgrade their rating after the one-month, no questions asked return policy. If you take the time to read all the 1, 2, and 3 star reviews you will realize that these are not durable for long term use and have failed many after a rainstorm. But, let's look at my issue with the TWO I bought thinking the first one was an outlier problem only to find out that the second one purchased has the exact same BIG problem and also had some new issues described by many reviewers. I chose these as they claim to have all the features I wanted including dimmable (works well) and a timer option (DOES NOT WORK AT ALL). After turning them on and then depressing either the 3-hour timer or the 5-hour timer, I can see the little red transmission dot on the remote light up.... however, after trying BOTH 50-ft strands I can report that NEITHER EVER RECOGNIZED the timer option and NEVER turned off until I manually turned them off. Furthermore, on the purchase of the second one, I experienced what someone else reported which is that it mysteriously turned itself on. It also mysteriously went from the steady illumination that I chose to flashing mode. Needless to say, they are both going back after all the trouble of putting one up (but smartly testing the second one without removing it completely). I suspect most of these light strands have problems so I am now going to the web to research "best string lights" and then will look at all reviews with a more discerning eye before replacing this dud of a product with a similar dud. I will also give the final product a big thumbs up... (after having them up and using them for at least a month).

Not too bad. The only annoying part is trying to get the setting you want on the remote. I have to click through on the plug in but one I get to the solid lighting I can adjust brightness with the remote. The on/off feature works though. If you’re looking for a budget friendly option these will suffice. You ain’t gonna get perfect control for $30 but it will get the job done. It covered 4 12’ sides of the deck but just barely. Just used a staple gun to put up and they hang nicely.

We just got them installed on our new pavilion and they look great. The remote works well and seems to have a good range. The dimming ability is a nice touch. I believe we will enjoy these lights for years to come.

Lights work, as does the remote. The depicted power adapter is similar but not quite the one you get. The power adapter you get has a 2-pin connector about 4 inches from the start of the power adapter. This is where the rest of the lights get connected. This is actually great because you can buy 2-pin extension cords to elongate the initial wire to where the lights start. What was also puzzling to me is that the spec. sheet says each bulb draws 1 watt of power, but on the power adapter the output is 24V 1A DC, which should be a max of 24V * 1A = 24W. There are 75 bulbs connected which didn't make sense at all! I was worried of potential fire hazards so I went ahead and measured the voltage and amperage through the 2-pin wire. Indeed the power adapter outputs 24V. When all the lights are on the multimeter said 0.52A was the max that was drawn at 100% brightness. Half of that at 50%, etc. So in reality the spec. sheet is incorrect. Each bulb draws about ~0.166W of power. This also makes sense as they advertise a maximum of 2 strands of these lights can be connected which would max out the wattage output from the power adapter. Deducted a star for the incorrect picture, and the incorrect spec. sheet! Otherwise everything seems ok so far.

Hasta el momento todo bien, los focos espero que con el uso no se opaquen. Al momento de probarla un foco no prendía, estaba flojo. Por lo demás todo se ve muy bien.

La guirnalda es muy funcional el detalle es que el eliminador se mojó y ya no se puede arreglar aunque las especificaciones indica que es contra agua . Me gustaría reposición del eliminador o proceder a devolverlo
