I got this as a present. I was really excited to see how it would look with the phone and of course playing with it, but i couldn't at all!!! Why? Because it doesn't fit, it let you install the phone but i dont think this model, the phone has to be with no case or screen protector!! I have the glass screen protector which i would say its 0.5 maybe 1mm and it didn't fit!!!. Very disappointed for that tiny issue. Come on now a days a lot of people use a screen protector!! I give 3 star because i have seen it in videos and it looks cool and works, but it needs more work on it. By the way i have an iphone X

This product works great. I especially like the magnets in the back ‘paddles’ of the controller that snap together and make it more portable. Unlike Bluetooth controllers there’s no real potential for lag in game since it’s a direct connection. I have it for the iPhone X and the controller has a lighting port to charge the phone while playing, which is pretty convenient. The materials feel sturdy and nice, not all at cheap-feeling.Now the downsides: the price and the amount of games available. The second issue isn’t the fault of Gamevice (they even offer a handy dandy app that tells which games are MFI accessible as well as offering information for what each button does for each game). The price could be helped by knocking off 20 or 30 dollars, because I do think 79 is a smidge overpriced. However, if a controller for a phone (which has only a moderate gaming/MFI enabled ecosystem available) is worth it to you, this is probably the best one to buy. In spite of my reservations on the price, I don’t regret my purchase and the games I can play make it more than worth it.

Didn’t work for the game I intended to play on it,(Rules of survival)But it did work with emulator games and this game pad is best of its kind. I used it on my iPhone X. Works on a ton other game.No lag! Feels comfortable, and you can tighten to the phone so no loose fitting.

Great device. The top buttons have to be pressed down fairly hard to register. Never got the email of the 5$ iTunes.

Gamevice is the best gaming product I have ever bought, it turned my iPhone into a portable gaming device which never needs to be charged and enables me to use the full screen, never blocked by my fingers. Only complaint is I need to buy a separate game ice for my iPad but fortunately they make those too.

It's not as amazing as the description cuts it out to be but it works well.
