This is the largest filter that Toyota/Denso makes, I use it on my 2001 5VZFE 3.4L 4Runner
Having dome some research on oil filters, including viewing lots of filter cut-aways on the internet, I've switched my vehicle back to OEM oil filters. It appears I was a fool to marketing ploys by many aftermarket filter makers. This will fit a 5VZFE engine, even though it's not the correct part number (it's intended for Toyota V8 engines). Talked with several mechanics and they had no qualms about using a slightly larger filter, the larger it is the more filter media presumably. The only aftermarket filter I'd consider, which isn't available for my truck, is the Fram Ultra Synthetic. Cutaways show it's legit and is rated for 15K intervals. I just put one on my GF's Honda.

OEM, but dented
Well I received a legitimate filter, decent price. There was a small dent upon arrival. It really wont affect anything, and I certainly don't care, but it came dented.

Only filter ever ran in my Sequoia
These are the only oil filters I’ll use in my 2002 Sequoia. It’s almost at 300,000 miles and these filters, combined with good oil every 5,000 miles keeps it running like new. Never had a leak or any issues pertaining to oil it’s whole life. If you drive a Toyota, do it a favor and get an OEM filter, cheap filters are just wasting your time and money.
