Well made and galvanised.I needed a grid that was strong enough to hold concrete slabs and ornamental stones for a water feature.This was a both a larger, stronger and better VFM grid than those that were constructed for the purpose. I had of course to modify the centre to take a standard square drain cover and allow access to pump. Easily accomplished with a small angle grinder (and lots of coats of grey Hammerite). Perhaps a hole in the market? Anyway pleased with the result.

Would recommend this product. Bought three to cover a drain in my driveway. Seems to cope effectively with the weight of my 4x4.

Needed a solid metal covering for a cellar well which I've been aiming to have made for some time( didn't want to be sued for someone falling down it!) This was suggested to me by a family member and it's perfect for this. Strong and solid will be able to stand on it for reading gas meter , window cleaning etc. Delivered quickly, a brilliant idea
