SPECTACULAR. In the time it took my Windows 11 laptop to boot up, I had this unit unboxed and setup with a 25 year old IDE HDD. It flawlessly read all disk partitions and I successfully transferred about 10 GB of data to the cloud in less than an hour. Very impressive.

Works out of the box with no workarounds. An excellent product that does what it claims. Highly recommend.

Nice way to recover older hard drive files at an affordable price but not so beautiful setup to display for all to see.

This thong is a life saver. My seagate external 4tb failed and I could not get in. This got me in. It seems that case or it's power was the issue and this got me up and running. It was very easy to use and required no setup.

The hard drive adapter works great. I purchased it to connect to one of my father’s old IDE drives. My computers and external hard drive cases are SATA and not compatible. I was able to retrieve old family photos and stories that my father had stored on this old drive. Thank you!

Windows 11 has an issue with this product! I am trying to sort it out, but it doesn't look promising. In light of this, I wish I had purchased something else!

This device worked straight out of the box. I connected three old HDDs that I'd saved with the vague hope that one day I'd be able to access the photos on them. Uncovered photos of my wife and kids from my first digital camera (a Kodak 2M camera that took a great shot...) and even some of the earlier photos that I'd captured using my then current mobile phone. Some of the phone photos are tiny, as you'd expect, but the others are now stored safely in all their glory. I happily recommend this product - great value, no effort, no complicated instructions, just plug it all in and enjoy searching through old photos and files.

HEADS UP: Without knowledge of how to hack hard drives or coding, this is useless. It is not just plug-and-play. Lucky, I was fortunate to know someone who was able to get into my old drives. This did the trick. Plugs straight into the hard drives, no additional wires required.

The only negative comment I have, is there were no instructions and when I went to the website, everything was in Chinese. Finally found someone on U-Tube that had purchased one and that is how I finally found an instruction sheet on how to connect etc. After that, it was good, very fast and I'm satisfied with this product, as I had originally purchased one at Staples, that didn't work at all and I had to return it. However, this one is not only cheaper, but does a great job.
