These bags are AWESOME! The drawstring works great, the bags are tall enough to fit in our garbage can w/o falling. The bags also feel thicker and more stable than others we've tried that are wimpy and fall down in our garbage can. Very happy with these!

These really are compostable. They bag will disintegrate pretty quickly so don’t leave it laying around full of trash in the sun but that’s common sense and it’s nice to know that they work. We got them to sell our rabbit manure and they are great for that. I didn’t want to contribute plastic pollution while selling garden items. Love these and would buy again. Just beware that they do break down pretty quickly.

i ordered the large size which allows me to fill the compostable bag with a season of food scraps for my community compost pick up to process into soil, rich soil. the bags are strong, with handles for ease and nothing of the process is at risk of flying around a mountainous land fill. thank you for this opportunity to share my experience with these good compostable bags.

These bags are not indestructible. That being said, changing them as frequently as required is no problem knowing it's easy to break down in the environment. This helps me move on with my day and keep super clean. I have filled these up with about three 6 packs of glass bottles and other large bottles and lots of take out containers. It is very sturdy.

June 2024 Update... The first ones that I received were great (original review below). The follow-on bags were too tight to fit my can. If I stretched them any at all, they would tear along the seams. Perhaps the company needs to work through some quality control issues to make sure ALL the bags are the proper size. I was hoping that it might only be a problem with one box of bags. Unfortunately that was not the case and I have had repetitive problems with the bags tearing. Also, when they are stretched any at all, the drawstring usually pulls apart. When you factor the higher price of the bags plus the destroyed ones, it makes them too costly.They fit my kitchen trash can perfectly ... not too tight or too loose. I don't love that you have to tear them at a perforation, along the side, to remove them from the roll. But I can live with that. Had one bag leak some fluid, but I've had the same issue with other U.S. brand name trash bags, so I'd say they are comparable in terms of strength and durability. I wish they were less expensive and at similar cost to plastic bags. They feel and behave like plastic kitchen bags; hopefully they are better for the environment.

I have been using these for months and feel like they are the perfect product for managing my needs and the environment. They are strong enough, no leaks, great thinkness and overall holds what i need. THey are easy to use and I keep the whole roll in the bottom of my basket - so that they are readily available. I appreciate that i am able to provide a little assistance in making these bags break down quicker than the other plastic bags.

I’ve used several large compostable bags. The quality of the bag is typical: holds up fairly well but can easily tear if you try to put too much in. The ties are functionally very useful, if you have been using compostable bags without them I highly recommend switching over. It makes removing the bag and closing it up so much easier.
