If you have a soft top bronco you know like the rest of the vehicle the roll bar paint is super thin. Add to that the folding metal frame of the soft top tends to rub against the roll bar and can scratch it up. I hate to have to cover up the cool eruption green color of my roll bars, but dont want them scratched up either.Covers from other brands were abs plastic. I ordered these because they were soft tpe rubber and only covered the sides of roll bar where I need protection and without covering the top. Again I hate the idea of having to cover the EG paint on the roll bar.These are easy to install. The tape didnt seem very sticky, but seems to be holding up so far. It has only been a few days, so will update over time. They seem to provide the protection needed. I took one star off because they seem expensive for all that they are. I will update over time how well the color holds up to the sun and tape holds them in place.So far I am happy and would order them again.
