A nice sturdy pair of steps suitable for an old codger like me who doesn't like heights. I feel completely safe even on the top step as there are handles to hold onto. I recommend to anyone who has to do odd jobs around the house like curtains and cleaning tops of cupboards, etc and is not quite as agile as they used to be.

Mum feels safe using this ladder. Has brilliant wide steps. You have to put it together, which I would have preferred for it to come pre made, hence the 4 rating. It’s a bit bulky for storage but just fits in the gap. Overall a good ladder and reasonable price.

The steps are deep and sturdy. I haven't fitted the handrails yet because I'm about to move home but I bought them so that I can access the loft space in my new garage, and these will be perfect.I have used them already to secure the top box on my car, and they did the job.Well worth the money.

I bought these as I thought they would be more safe, as I’m getting older. They are just ok. They are heavy to move around. The steps are very tight, not enough room to place your foot, and when standing on the ladder the step digs into my shin. However, the bar at the top of the steps is great for steadying your balance and it feels safer to climb once the steps are made stable.
