I gave this as a Christmas gift and my son and daughter-in-love and they both loved it. They had a blast putting it together with each other. The pieces were small but easy to assemble and the design was perfect for the theme they were doing. There weren’t any missing pieces and the quality of the blocks were sturdy.

Wasn't perfect, but I take issue with the negative reviews. The pieces were uniform and clicked together well. The balance was a bit off, so my upper platform fell off 5 times, but it was fixable! Also the bags are not organized, you either have to do it yourself or sift through 3600 peices. Took about 2 weeks to complete (I was a bit obsessed). Also why do none of these companies list the excess pieces? It would make things so much easier!

This is a beautiful set once completed. I got this for my daughter as a thank you for being a huge help on a project I was doing. She loves it. Took her about 3 days to complete it, only working on it at bedtime. The bricks went together easily and seemed to hold together well. Biggest complaint was that they screwed up and gave her a roof tile of the wrong color. She's meticulous in her Lego building, so I know she didn't lose it. She literally builds in the box it came in and only takes it out once it's built enough to be on the base. She then builds in one location and doesn't travel. She also keeps the blocks she doesn't need yet in the box. She called me into her room because she couldn't find the roof brick that was supposed to be included. It was a 5 dot by 8 dot brick. We searched through the box multiple times. Searched her entire room, nothing. So I went through the box and found a brick in a tan color like the floor bricks, same number of dots as the required brick. We went through the entire directions and that brick wasn't supposed to be in the set as the floor was already built with the correct number of tan bricks. So it was definitely a mistake on the part of the manufacturer. But it ended well as it was the correct brick, just the wrong color and it was hidden under some other bricks once built. It looks so pretty all set up on her shelf and she's very happy with it. I got it on a sale for spring sale week, I think, but it was a great value for the amount I spent. I think it's a good value at full price considering what you'd pay for the real Lego brand of the same thing. By the way, she's 16 and this was well within her age range for building difficulty. I would definitely recommend!

I love buying the mini blocks for my S/O for Christmas. They are half the price of Lego but the detail and more realistic look you get with the mini blocks is well worth it. This one the lights don't make full sense through part of the water fall that is built on a tiny 4 square but still a beautiful set with the case

I have built multiple other sets including the other zoo half in this set but unfortunately this one was missing over 10 pieces. I've never had this happen before but it's gotten to the point where I've stopped building because I can't go forward without those pieces. As it takes time to assemble, by the time I've gotten far enough to discover the pieces it was past the return window. So beware, either take it all out and inventory every single piece (unrealistic) or be prepared to have to order individual replacements.

I got my 13 year old this for her birthday. The larger "name brand" were very expensive and easy for her to put together. The detail of this put together in person .. it's really beautiful and the lights really make it "extra". She still knocked this one out chipping away at it for a little over a week! Turned out awesome! Loved this and hope they come out with more!

This set is more difficult to assemble than some of the others I have done. The waterfalls don’t seem to come out like they should so I keep taking it apart to see how I can fix it. The houses are great. The trees and flowers are more complex and you really have to take your time. The set is very well made and great price. I do wish the instructions were a bit more detailed or different for the waterfall parts
