Simple Zushi
I make Zushi a lot. This rice is the best I have used. Easy to make, starchy and sweet. just the right amount of stickiness.

Wet and starchy
1st time trying this brand of rice.For sushi roll purposes. It’s very starchy although I washed it a few times in cold water before cooking. Perhaps I’ll try tepid water next time to lessen the starch levels. I cooked in saucepan 18 min. The rice seems more wet that other brands sushi rice. The sushi roll didn’t come out the usual chef’s kiss goodness. I think this is high quality rice and may require “drying” the rice out for an hour after cooking 😫

The closest Asian market in my area is almost 4 hours away, so whenever I went to a bigger city, I bought lots of rice bag since I eat rice every day. to choose the right sticky sushi rice is not easy in America because it is not sticky enough to make a sushi, there were so flaky, dry,.. was not able to make sushi with that kind of rice.As you can see the picture I attached, the rice came out wonderfully to make sushi, It was delicious. since I eat rice every day, this is good with rice bowl with curry, barbecue chicken bowl, fried rice, rice rolling ball,....for a tip to make rice, washes them and soak them about 30 minutes, so allows them to absorb moisture from water. after that, throw away the soaking water first, and place your hand on top of the soaked rice. pour clean water until reaching your half of top of the hand, this is how I do every day when I cook a rice, but the water level for making right sushi rice totally depends on the rice self, the soaked hours and where you are going to cook a rice.I use the soeos premium sushi rice daily basis and special occasional sushi.
