Does the job for what I want, I wouldn't weld with it all day though, as it does get a little warm.Just check that the connector is the right size that you want.

This is a functional earth clamp. It fits my plasma cutter just fine (although not my larger MIG machine, this is definitley designed for small units of the sort you would buy for a couple of hundred quid on amazon).The cable is reasonably long, flexible and has an acceptable resistance. The clamp is a bit bendy, I can't imagine it would stand up to intensive use.My two main concerns are:- The cable is not copper, it is CCA. If you aren't familiar, this means Copper Coated Aluminium. It's often used in low end products as aluminium is considerably cheaper than pure copper. It is a worse conductor, less rugged and much more prone to breaking under stress.- The bolt connecting the cable to the jaws of the clamp is steel. In all my proper earth clamps this bolt is copper, to provide consistant conductivity from the machine to the workpiece. Again, a cost saving measure.In conclusion, lots of corners have been cut, but it is a fuctional item and should be fine for low current, infrequent use in DIY applications.

I have been needing to replace the clamp on my Mig for a couple of years. I only use it occasionally and its just one of those things to do that kept slipping my mind. I also wanted to extend my ground cable so this is perfect for my requirements.This replacement 200a cable with its wonderful clamp, while made for a stick welder will do the job very nicely for me. I like the clamp with its braided connector and copper connectors. Should get a very nice connection with it. The cable attaches with a simple standard bolt to the clamp which is convenient.Very nice. Good quality with more than enough amperage capacity for my needs. Very pleasing indeed,

Contact with the rod on on the 45degree is not great so no spark. 90degree good connection.Had to file the contact pads down a bit to get working but still a little iffy.
