Installed 3 of these in my sprinkler system due to the fact that the sprinkler valves were below grade and could easily drip at the pressure relief valve. Installed two years ago and have had no problems.

Works just as it should.

I ordered these check valves for my ranch for the well system as backup for the best possible time for things breaking ( mostly 9:30 pm on a Sunday night) I have used one already it looks well made and working great now I would recommend this valve

I installed this back flow preventer to keep an irrigation line that is on a bank about 15 ft above my house from draining back through the anti-siphon valve and making a puddle in my yard. Unfortunately, I found that the back flow preventer can only handle a flow rate of 1.2 gal/minute and my irrigation line requires about 3.5 gal/minute. I have a pressure regulator on the irrigation system set for 70 psi so there should be plenty of pressure. I spent the second half of the day removing the back flow preventer shown in the photo and putting the plumbing back the way it was. I bought two of these and they both behave the same. When I blow air into it with my mouth I can feel the back pressure increase as I blow harder. No air flows in the opposite direction. I would recommend using this for low flow rates (<1 gal/min) and noting this important limitation in the product description.

The structure is compact and easy to use. I use it in the garden spray system, which can effectively prevent the water in the water pipe from flowing back.

Installed many of these on lawn irrigation systems. Never had an issue. Works great. Normal plumbing procedures to install. (For some, follow the arrow on it).

Not heavy duty, so should not be placed near the pump if there is any cycling. Internal spring assembly broke in less than 3 months.

No complaints, less than a year since install.
