Lawn Aerator Gets the Job Done, but Has Some Room for Improvement
The media could not be loaded. I've been meaning to aerate my lawn for a while now, so I decided to give this manual aerator a try. The built-in soil core storage tray seemed like a nifty feature to keep things tidy as I worked. Assembly was pretty straightforward, and I appreciated that it came with a little cleaning tool to help clear out the spikes if they got clogged up with dirt or rocks. The handle has a nice cushy grip too, which made it more comfortable to use for extended periods. I followed the instructions and watered my lawn beforehand to soften up the soil. It definitely made it easier to push the aerator into the ground. The spikes are hefty and made of a durable alloy material, so they really dig in deep. The soil core tray does a decent job of catching most of the plugs as you go, but it's not foolproof. I still had some stray bits of dirt flying out here and there. And when the tray gets full, you have to stop and empty it, which kind of breaks your rhythm. One thing I found a bit challenging was the amount of force needed to really drive the spikes deep into the soil. I'm not exactly a weakling, but after a while, my arms and back started to feel the burn! The foot bar helps with leverage, but it can be a little slippery if your shoes are muddy. The height of the aerator is alright for me (I'm about 5'8"), but I could see it being a bit awkward for taller folks who have to hunch over more. It would be nice if the handle was adjustable. After a couple hours of work, my lawn was thoroughly aerated, but I was definitely feeling it in my muscles. I guess that's the trade-off with a manual tool like this - it's eco-friendly and affordable, but requires more elbow grease. All in all, this lawn aerator gets the job done, but it's not without some minor flaws. The soil tray and cleaning tool are handy features, but be prepared for a bit of a workout, especially if you have a larger yard. If you dont mind putting in some manual labor, it's a solid choice for the price. But if you have a bad back or limited strength, you might want to consider a powered aerator instead.

Lawn Aerator
Over the course of many years, my grass had begun to exhibit indications of compaction, which impeded its ability to absorb water and nutrients. I used this product to remedy the situation. The design of the aerator's coring successfully punctured the soil, which made it possible for air to reach the grassroots level, which was desperately required. I was able to exercise full control over the process because of the manual operation, which enabled me to ensure that every square inch of my grass got the full care it needed. In addition to the fact that it makes the job of cleaning up a breeze, it also acts as a visual demonstration of the aeration process. A concrete indicator of the improvement in soil structure and aeration depth was supplied by the examination of the soil cores, which instilled confidence in the effectiveness of the equipment. Water absorption has increased, which has resulted in a reduction in the amount of pooling that occurs during irrigation. The grass seems to be more vibrant. In addition, the aerator's small size makes it simple to operate, which ensures that even the most congested corners and edges of the lawn are able to get the aeration that is required.

Misaligned
I’m not sure how this one gets five star reviews from people. Not aligned and it’s very difficult to put together, you buy these to save time and get better lawn but putting it together is time consuming and holes are not aligned. I had a previous one that was much better but I thought to buy this since this was a bit cheaper, guess I’m going to have to do that.

Not great build, need to assemble. I’m not sure how it would work after assembly. Will find another product. Going back

Lawn tools
Getting yard ready for spring, have used to dig plugs of grass from spots where grass is good and placing them in some bare spots in the yard. Works great and very easy to use. Built of sturdy material, and easily cleaned by spraying with a hose. Very light weight and also can be used by my wife, who is the main yard care person of the family. Definitely will use dandelion plucker this spring.

Heavy duty aerator. Works well
Works really well, the tray is nice because it picks up the dirt clods which you want to make sure you put back in the yard and not throw out. Fertilize and or water directly after doing this. It definitely takes a little bit of muscle so make sure the ground has been saturated for a day or two prior to make your life easier. Overall super heavy Duty and works well
