Using for commercial signage
I had previous timer of same power requirement running illuminated sign outside of my office. The timer stopped working awhile back and I finally got around to replacing it. This was pretty easy to install, even though the older one was slightly different in its terminals. It works exactly as promised and unlike my old timer ( which just had one on and one off options) I have this set up to illuminate just before sunset until around midnight and then relight around 5 AM until sunrise. So far it is running perfectly and I am hopeful that it will hold up well for years.

Reliable Timer with Great Customer Service
I bought the BN-LINK Pool Pump Timer to manage my pool pump schedule, and overall, I’m very satisfied. The first unit I received was unfortunately defective—it wouldn’t power on—but I contacted the company, and they responded quickly and professionally. They sent me a replacement without hassle, and the new one has been working flawlessly. The timer is solidly built, clearly designed for heavy-duty outdoor use, and supports multiple voltages (120V, 240V, and 277V), which is very convenient. Programming the digital interface was easy, even for a first-time user, and it’s helped automate my system reliably without needing daily manual operation. In addition to a well-designed product, BN-LINK stood behind their warranty and made the replacement process smooth. That kind of service goes a long way. Highly recommended. Easy instructions. Also a few videos on YT that are helpful too.

Works, but Needed Modifications
I bought this timer to control an irrigation pump of 1 HP. It works well for this purpose, but required some adjustments and is not 5 star for several reasons. First, the timer dial and mechanism is very delicate. The set tabs themselves are small. Each tab represents 15 mins, and the dial itself is about 2" in diameter, which makes setting on/off intervals a bit tedious, and tabs must be moved using a small screwdriver or similar tool. Further, tabs just feel "lightweight" and incapable of standing up to a lot of changing or resetting. Second, the removeable cover that surrounds the dial and switch is needs (at least on my unit) some adjustment. The hole for the dial was rough, with small pieces of plastic protruding into the edge of the set-dial preventing it from moving freely, and the mechanism that follows the dial edge to switch the power on/off was restricted by the cover. The solution was to sand the inner circumference of the dial hole until smooth and to also cut a small notch in the cover where the switching mechanism resides so as to allow freedom of movement (see photo). Finally, the wiring instructions provided are probably going to be difficult for anyone not familiar with wiring diagrams and conventions. This is compounded by the fact that timer can be wired for a normally open (NO) switch configuration, a normally closed (NC) configuration, for both 120V and 220V loads, and wiring of two loads, etc. I wired mine for 120V NO (normally open) switching so that depressed tabs close the switch (and turns on the pump). I included a photo to show my wiring. Note you will need a jumper wire from the incoming hot timer tab over to the load tab (black wire in photo). Both power and load neutrals (white) are tabbed together. Incoming ground and load ground is also lugged together. See second photo for 120V wiring. So far, the timer is working well and seems to keep its time and accurately turn on and off the pump. The timer is encased in a very good housing that prevents water from rain getting in, and given its price compared to other timers, it seems to be a good value, assuming one can make the above adjustments.

Once installed it's been fine. Listed dimensions are way off and issues with installation, though.
I'm reviewing the mechanical timer version.Once installed, the timer has been working perfectly. The timer has kept accurate time for five days so far. And, for me, I like the convenience of having a switch right next to my pump. The switch overrides the timer for pool maintenance. This box is mounted to the same 4x4 post that the electrical outlet is mounted to (this is an above-ground pool). It's great to be able to turn the pump off when cleaning out the skimmer basket, and to turn the pump on when vacuuming the pool. But installation had a couple issues...Minor issue - The dimensions for this product listed in the Amazon description are way off. They say, "2.4 x 3.14 x 2.44 inches", but this is much bigger. I didn't trust those anyway, as they looked too small to have any decent control of the timer. But the actual dimensions are 7-1/2"W X 8-3/4"H X 3"D. It wasn't too much of a problem for me, though. The only thing was the mounting tabs that you need to use for weather-tight mounting are 4" apart, and I was mounting this on a 4" post. I was able to file some holes in the tabs to allow them to swing inwards enough to angle screws into the post. This will need a jumper, but that shouldn't be a problem. I've never run into an electrical installation where I didn't have a foot or more of extra wire to cut off. You'll only need 3 - 4 inches for this. I only mention it because it seems to have been a problem in other reviews. My biggest issue, and the reason for deducting two stars, was with the knockouts. As in many electrical boxes, the knockouts have an inner section for 1/2" conduit and an outer section for 3/4". I needed the 1/2" size, but the plastic was too thick to let me punch out the inner plug. As soon as I tried, the entire knockout popped out and I needed to get some washers (one inside the box and one outside) to attach the 1/2" conduit coupling to the box. I had to trim the inside washer in a few places because the ground connection and a center rib on the bottom of the box interfered with the washer. I also had to seal around the outside washer.Aside from all that, installation was pretty easy, the box looks water-tight, and I'm happy with this timer.
