I found myself paying £1 per 100 grams for Tilly's Winter Mixture on the high street, which are very nice. My previous favourites were 'Tuck Shop' but they seem to have gone. So 'no pun intended' I decided to 'bite the bullet' and try the Maxons from Amazon, despite a couple of 2 stars reviews. So glad I did as I cannot fault them. They are unwrapped but well covered in sugar so have not yet clumped together in the jar, but if they do a good shake will soon loosen them up. Lots of old favourite flavours plus a few new ones. Give them a go and see if you don't agree.

I prefer hard/ boiled sweets to chocolate or caramel and I am pleased with these sweets.I was a bit wary when I read the reviews saying they had no taste but the jar I received is very tasty.I tested them out on my son and in his opinion they are strong.Please can you add more lemon coloured sweets?I will purchase these again.Bought second jar, it’s not the same. All the dark coloured sweets are soft as if old stock has been thrown in.

This is the second jar of these boiled sweets I purchased. I bought a jar at xmas for elderly mother and they were perfect. I bought another jar for her for Easter and they are soft and soggy. How do I go about having this item replaced. I can only guess they are from the same batch from December 2024 and unfortunately don't seem to have kept their freshness.

Value for money have had them several times

Bought these for Christmas and they are still going throughout the summer. Very flavoursome , good value for money

Arrived on time. Very tasty sweets. Date on it a year so I can enjoy when I like to have one as they are very nice to suck. Hard boiled sweets, they sure are.
