Technomate TM-5300 D M2 Super+ Digital Satellite Receiver FTA with Card Reader

I needed a new receiver for a satellite dish. I already have a similar receiver at home but used in a different room. I'm happy with this purchase. The receiver just needs to be plugged in and it will run off to find all the channels. I very much like the remote which came with it. Would recommend.

reasonably easy to use though the manual is a complete waste of time. problem solving page runs to about 3 items.only problem i have if anyone can help is that i pressed the fav button and selected a chanel and now i can't get out of it back to the main list. just won't let me do anything.

it worked very well for many years then gave up the ghost. but it wasn't the easiest to use... i wouldn't buy it again.

All the channels isn't working or showing.

I owned an earlier model 10 years ago, It is good to see the excellent pedigree has continued.

I won't pretend that I know about satellite tv, I don't. Bought this one because I needed at receiver with a multicrypt card reader and PVR functionality. Something not mentioned in the instructions is that the USB device must be USB powered only, not mains. Once you connect the correct USB device and set it to record it works very well. It comes preconfigured with the stations of half a dozen satellites, I found it easier to delete all the unwanted satellites and just have the one the dish is pointing towards. Manual could do with rewriting. Otherwise pleased with it.
