Great Expansion
Makes each players experience more unique. Balances some end game cards. Also adds new mechanics which definitely allow the game to progress smoother.

Only includes two new maps, which is not great value...
I approve of more variety for a game like Ark Nova, but if these two new maps were going to be stronger than the default maps (they are), then four new maps should have been provided for balance. Instead, only two are provided. Both are clever and thoughtful, but both are slightly more powerful than the default maps. As a result, they are mostly useful either for balancing the game out for stronger players (with default maps) versus weaker players (these maps) or for 2P Ark Nova games.And like most "promo" style products, the value for money just isn't there. So, it's basically a product for completionists or Ark Nova nerds like myself. ;-)
