j-hope's album, Jack in the Box, was released in digital form in July 2022 to wide critical acclaim. It's a concept album, cleverly combining the metaphors of Pandora's box and the jack-in-the-box toy to tell j-hope's own story, as he emerges from the hugely successful Korean group BTS to establish his own artistic identity as a soloist. Infectious 90s style hip-hop beats, clever, intricate lyrics and j-hope's uniquely versatile rapping/singing style combine to make it a great listen.This version gives the original 10 tracks the sound quality and permanence they deserve, adds in five extra tracks (three from j-hope's awesome solo debut at Chicago's Lollapalooza festival and two instrumentals) and includes a host of cute collectibles. The stickers, photos and cut-and-make paper figurine are a perfect reflection of j-hope's concept and his witty, playful style.

I received my copy of Jack In The Box, Hope Edition on release day ☺️Being a Hobi bias, I just had to pre- order this magnificent musical masterpiece.The CD is so nicely put together, J-Hope put his heart & soul into it 🥹 Every track is full of emotion. The paper toy is so cute as are all the other extras that come with the CD 🥰 I'm so pleased with it & this is a must have for any BTS fan 💜Go & buy a copy, you'll not be disappointed ☺️🖤🤍🩵🩷💜
