This hammer is great. I got the one with the lines in the head they do a smooth version as well but only using it for 1st fix so it don’t matter. Lovely feel and weight for me. I have had few of the Estwing and you can’t go wrong to be honest. This one has a nail magnet on the top to save ya pinkies.

I've wanted an Estwing framing hammer for quite a while now but just couldn't justify the cost, however, during the recent Prime sale it was reduced to £53.00 so I splashed out. What arrived wasn't worth any more than a tenner. Whatever product is used to put a clear coat over the so-called leather wrapped handle was chipped and peeling like an old leatherette sofa, and the black paint on the shaft could be rubbed off with your thumb. Utter tat. Save your money.
