Love it!
I love this expansion for the solo mode alone! The added scenarios and 4-player variant is just an added bonus. If you are an Undaunted fan, get it!

David Thompson hits the sweet spot
The Undaunted game series is a perfect blending of wargame and deckbuilder. The use of ten-sided dice to determine combat results injects the perfect amount of tension to allow the Undaunted games to drop theme. I’m a longtime fan of Thompson s Valiant Defense games. If you like Undaunted you may want to investigate those games. A little meatier but oh so rewarding to play.

Solo rule, 2 v 2, more units and scenarios
I'm happy with this expansion. Pretty solid addition to base games.

Smaller box than original version
The original Reinforcements was designed to hold all components from Normandy and North Africa. With the revised version the box is the same size as the Normandy box and far too small to hold all 3.Edit: Just to be clear since the other review thinks this is stupid. This expansion is giving you less and charging you more than the original reinforcements. At best the game is 4 stars, but that would be if it cost less than $50.

Very good expansion
So the box won't hold all the content for both Normandy *and* North Africa. Big deal. What it *does* have is the full card set for *both* the main games. That means no matter which edition of either base game you already own you'll get replacement cards so there's no worry about cut/color of the originals compared to this expansion (this was an issue with the original release of Reinforcements as it didn't include those cards and cards were often mis-matched).This also includes 4 new scenarios for Normandy and 4 new scenarios for North Africa using the map tiles from the respective base game. Those 8 new scenarios are playable solo or 2v2 (the 4 player mode - teams and not 4v4 play). PLUS it includes solo setups for all the original scenarios in Normandy and North Africa (but no 2v2 for those). Here's what's in the box:13 Long Range Desert Group forces cards14 Italian forces cards16 US forces cards16 German forces cards9 Combat counters150 Solo cards20 tokens and markers1 Rule book1 Scenario bookSo... One review complains (and reduces the rating) because the original version had a larger box with an insert that would store the components for Normandy and North Africa along with the contents of this expansion - as long as you didn't sleeve your cards. That's no longer the case and you'll possibly need 2 or 3 boxes *if* you feel the need to keep the inserts. I don't get why that's an issue or why you'd reduce the rating as the other benefits of this edition outweigh that one, IMHO, minor thing. If you own both base games it's possible to dump the insert for North Africa and put all 3 products in its box. IMHO, the inability of the original Reinforcements box/insert to hold all content sleeved is a bigger issue than just dumping the inserts completely. Dumping inserts is a common thing to do in the hobby gaming world as most just aren't designed well, often won't hold sleeved cards, and rarely hold expansion content. If you're a fan of the system and own either base game, this is a worthwhile purchase. Even more so if you own both base games and/or you're also a solo gamer.

Great Solo Bot
I actually own the original version so I won't comment on anything but gameplay as there were minor changes between the original and this revised version. I wanted to post my review here as I felt it would be relevant to the revised version as well. The solo bot is fantastic and makes for a challenging "opponent". As with any other solo bot, there may be a rare occasion when the decision tree will instruct you to make a move that wouldn't be the most effective/efficient decision for your AI opponent. Obviously the game developers couldn't foresee every situation and gamestate that could occur. In those situations I follow the decision tree as close as possible then make whatever decision makes the most sense given the situation. The additional units and updated rules only add better game play to what was already an excellent game.
