Bought this for my wife because she has a sun sensitivity and this was worth the buy. She can be outside and it protects her very well. She enjoys the color, it fits pretty well, light weight and says it's very comfortable. Looking to get her one in another color and style soon

I got this cape for sun protection while gardening. It is great. I don't use the removable visor but would definitely use that if I was kayaking.This is also very useful as bug protection since only a small portion of your face is exposed if fully zipped. Of course they could fly up into the cape but that has not been a problem in my experience.The hood is very comfortable both on and when it is sitting on your back. There is no need to have it fully zipped to wear the hood in a comfortable manner and I love the pony hole.I have very small wrists and forearms and question if this would fit someone who didn't, there is no stretch in that area.I added snaps on each side of the cape wings so I could make it more fitted for working since the cape drapes down and is in your way while working.I will also do some reinforcement stitches by the thumb holes to make them last since this is a work shirt for me. Garment construction is acceptable, zipper quality is not amazing. The zipper coil itself is fine, but the pull is very low quality and doesn't fit the coil as well as a YKK brand. However, for the cost of the garment it is probably "quality" appropriate.I am considering buying a second one to keep clean for wearing other than as my garden work shirt. Also would make a great gift for someone who spends a lot of time outside and is concerned about sun exposure.

I’m allergic to the Sun and this was so perfect while at the Beach! I highly recommend!!! Perfect fit, fabric is sturdy and afterwards ir was easy to wash!!!

The material is soft and thick enough to block out sunlight adequately. The brim of the hat is made of a sponge-like material, so it cannot hold its shape, the zipper must be fully closed to maintain the hat-like appearance. When worn, the connection between the hat and the shoulders slightly protrudes. And talking about the appearance, if you bump into someone on the street, you'd probably run away quickly.

I like that the jacket is cropped. Many of the sun protection fabrics are very hot wearing. The cropped style allows for some better airflow. The zipper was a little problematic and regularly snags if you're not careful. The sewing could be better. I had to clip two or three loose threads.If this were better constructed, I would pay more for the style. It's very practical.

I worked outside in CRAZZYY HEAT this saved me lowkey. I would wash it and the hood never warped badly too soBig W

I like the idea of this top but I had a couple of issues with it. One, there was a stain on it that looked like food. And two, the arms are a little short. When I had the hood on and my fingers through the thumb holes, the arms were stretched taut instead of relaxed. I am 5’5” and I have normal proportions. They should make different sizes instead of having just one for everybody.

I wore this out walking in some pretty hot weather -- mid nineties, high humidity.I do feel that it keeps me cooler..I love the loose fit, especially the loose underarms. The hood is ample and really protects my face.One problem is the thumb holes in the sleeves. They're positioned wrong and they strain my thumb joint, aggravating my arthritis.Another problem is that the seam ripped out between the thumb hole and the cuff on one of the seams after only about a week of use.Still, I'm finding it superior to the white cotton & linen shirts & swimsuit cover ups that I've used in the past to keep the sun off.
