The media could not be loaded. I freaking love this thing. The Zulay 64 ounce Nitro Brew keg is fantastic. Very well-built, top quality, and easier to use than I expected. I use the 8 gram nitrous oxide canisters to charge it which enhances the natural sweetness of the coffee compared to standard nitrogen. Although standard nitrogen does produce smaller micro-bubbles, the difference in micro-bubble size compared to using nitrous oxide (N2O) is not significantly noticeable to me.It arrived yesterday and I just pulled my first nitro brew from a cold brew I made last night and it has a much better quality texture and better flavor than any nitro brew I’ve ever gotten from any coffee house or café.Additionally, overtime it saves money because it’s much less expensive to buy whole bean coffee (I use Lavazza imported from Italy) and make your own cold brew at home with a cold brew maker, pour it into the Zulay nitro brew keg, charge it with your preferred nitrogen or nitro oxide gas, shake it for 15 seconds, allow it to rest in the refrigerator for an hour, take it out, give it one final 15 second shake, and pour yourself the best nitro brew you’ve ever had. I love it.

I love how the coffee this produces tastes, it's the best flavor I can imagine. However the entire keg leaks out of the tap while I have it sitting in my fridge so I can only brew one cup of coffee from the keg, and coffee leaks out while I wait the hour for it to brew. The coffee will constantly drip from the part of the faucet which came pre-assembled. This is while using the recommended two 2g-N2 cartridges and much less than 48 oz of coffee made from my Zulay cold brew carafe.I want to give this 5 stars because I would love to have a nitro coffee daily but currently this takes longer than one hour to brew a nitro cup of coffee all while it leaks due to the pressure. Keeping coffee in my fridge overnight for the next day is impossible because it will all leak out of the keg before the next morning.

I purposely waited several months before reviewing it because I knew there could be a learning curve.For me, the biggest learning curve was how to perfect my home made cold brew. Using the tank is pretty easy compared to that.It’s important to make sure you’re not putting more than 48oz of liquid in it. Once the nitro has been added, make sure to cover the nozzle with the included cap. If you twist it firmly on, it won’t come off on its own, and the nozzle won’t leak.Last bit of helpful information is that it’s important to shake it for a full 15 seconds before each use. It really helps distribute the nitrogen that way.I 100% recommend the Zulay cold brew nitro keg!

I did have a challenge aligning all the parts during assembly but once everything was together right I have had no issues. I love my nitro cold brew!!

Product stopped working after a week of use. I’ve tried cleaning the machine and followed the instructions to a T. I contacted customer service and they gave me the same recommendations I already tried. Still no word on replacing my product even though it’s under warranty. I would try a different company

Room for improvement. The keg is extremely top heavy and tips over when half empty in the side door of my fridge. The plastic cap to the nozzle is difficult to get off at times, or doesn’t stay put, leaving a leaky mess behind.

The media could not be loaded. I’m really happy with this Zulay Nitro Cold Brew Maker, but I think a lot of people are missing key steps. You have to put the N₂O or N₂ in with the coffee, SHAKE it, and then let it sit for at least an hour (I let mine sit overnight). I got too excited and tried it right away at first -- and it just tasted like regular cold brew. Once I followed the instructions correctly, I got that smooth, creamy nitro texture I was hoping for.Definitely pay attention to the grams listed for the gas canisters in the manual to get the best results.Only downside: it does leak a little after pouring, but I give it a quick shake into the glass before putting it back in the fridge and it’s fine. Overall, a solid way to enjoy nitro cold brew at home if you follow the steps!
