The description informs 5' Length because the other length options such as 1,2,4 are variations of the same product page. We will request Amazon to correct description to show correct length. Probably, but you may need heat shielding

Q: is this safe for diesel?

Although I have not used it in a diesel application, usually all Tygon fuel line that is for gasoline can be used with diesel as well.
