Gets my knives nice and shiny after they have been sharpened. Also gets rid of all the scratches they have accumulated. They look pretty much brand new. The paste and the lint from the wheels do make a bit of a mess on the kitchen table, but it's easy to clean up. Do make sure not to press too hard and overheat the metal you're polishing. You may take the "temper" out. I probably could have gotten away with the smaller less powerful model but who doesn't like power?

Used this for 6 hours straight cleaning a polishing badly blues saucepans Ann’s general kitchen of kitchen utensils after kitchen refit. This was a dream to use removing scratches and blue heat damage the kitchen utensil all look brand new. The product gas plenty of power does not get too hot, is very well built overall after the marathon cleaning session I have to recommend this as a great priced and useaful tool.
