Avoid taking this model as the router restarts abruptly causing internet disconnections.

The advertisement and specs looks great, but the greatness stops there! After paying a fortune, you realize that it just works like any other WiFi 6 router compliant with 802.11/ac standards I did not have much of an issue with the installation. Pretty slick and smooth. The Gigabit ports are pretty useful. The isuue starts when you try adding Wifi 7 compatible devices (e.g. One plus 12 phone) Your router's 6Ghz SSID doesn't even show up. Only your 5 Ghz and 2.4 Ghz SSIDs show up. After checking up with Qualcomm on their chip used in One plus and all doing everything as explained in TP Link's website FAQs, I finally gave up. In summary I am using some fancy looking stuff (read as TP Link 900 BE) router to power my previous generation router, which is now serving as access point! Hope the product team at TP Link identifies the real issue and provide a patch for the same.

TP-Link is dumping this worthless product in India and it will not get any further firmware updates and V1 version will not get MLO which is an important Wifi7 feature. TP-Link has also removed this product from their Indian website. You have been warned. But if you still insist on going to he11, atleast buy BE800. But I would not waste my money again on TP-Link product.

Je venais d’un TP-Link Archer C6, mais avec trop d’appareils connectés à la maison (domotique, smartphones, TV, etc.), le routeur atteignait clairement ses limites. Le passage à l’Archer BE220 (Wi-Fi 7 – BE3600) a été un vrai changement. La gestion du multi-appareils est nettement meilleure : réseau plus stable, moins de latence et disparition des ralentissements que j’avais avant. Même avec beaucoup d’équipements connectés en permanence, le routeur reste fluide et réactif. Les débits sont bons en Wi-Fi comme en filaire, et la couverture est homogène pour un logement de taille moyenne. Le WiFi 7 n'est pas répandu chez moi pour le moment mais nous serons prêts pour l'avenir. L’installation est rapide et l’interface TP-Link permet d’accéder facilement aux réglages utiles (QoS, gestion des appareils). La stabilité du 2,4 GHz est appréciable pour la domotique, tout en profitant de meilleures performances sur les bandes plus récentes. Conclusion : Excellent upgrade par rapport à l’Archer C6 que j'avais. Pour un foyer avec beaucoup d’appareils connectés, c’est un routeur fiable, performant et bien équilibré. Je ne regrette pas mon choix.

I’m writing this review after using the TP-Link BE220 WiFi 7 Router for about a month to keep it real and practical. Setup was a breeze, everything from unboxing to getting my network up and running took just a few minutes. The interface is clean and intuitive, even for non-technical users. Performance-wise, this router delivers! The WiFi signal is strong and stable across my home with no drops, lag, or random disconnects. Streaming, gaming, and video calls all run flawlessly. One of the best surprises was the VPN client feature. it works right out of the box and is incredibly easy to set up. It’s almost as simple as logging in to Netflix or Facebook, just enter your VPN credentials, and you’re good to go. I also appreciate small but thoughtful touches like scheduled reboots, which help keep the router running smoothly without any manual intervention.
