I would like seller to confirm that cookware is ptfe free and that high heat can be used. speculation from others is useless.

This type of cookware in all brands recommend medium heat due to products life span at higher temps. You will find out that they conduct heat better so there is no need to turn up to high heat especially with a lid on to trap heat which saves on utilities

I haven’t experienced that but my daughter has a gas stove and she has had black running off but it’s from the flame. Maybe he had gas? I love love love mine. They are amazing
