Best brace I’ve found for everyday use
I need a knee replacement, but I’m not old enough for one quite yet, so we’re holding off until I absolutely can’t walk anymore. On top of that, I recently tore my lateral meniscus very badly and I’m waiting for whatever can be done to help with my knee locking and hurting. I needed some support for long walks (i.e. through an airport or sometimes at work) to reduce swelling and to help ease the discomfort. My problem with any brace is that my thigh is much thicker than my calf. I also hate when I get a sleeve type brace and I get thigh “muffin top” because it’s just a tad tight to hold it up. I saw this sleeve type brace with adjustment straps and thought it might be perfect. I measured my thigh as directed and it was 27.5”. So I got the 3XL. My calf was a bit below the measurement for a 3XL, but I banked on being able to adjust it tight enough. The brace fits just perfect on my thigh. It’s a tad loose at the very top so that I don’t get that “muffin top” and I can adjust the strap to hold it up at the top. It’s quite loose on the bottom, but the strap can be adjusted to hold it tight. It provides just enough support to ease the pain and keep my knee aligned well, but I can still bend my knee as needed. I wore it under my pants the first time and realized the neoprene does not breath well and holds heat in, which caused a heat rash. So I now wear it on top of pants, I don’t have an issue with it slipping down as long as I tighten the straps adequately. I’ve worn it many times over the last few weeks and it only shows some slight wear around the knee cap hole from me tugging on it to get it positioned right. Out of ten various braces I’ve tried, this one is my favorite, despite how it holds in heat and isn’t breathable. I will get another when this one wears out.

Outstanding product, really works, does NOT roll down, not even when crawling around rubble piles!!
I read the reviews and I took a chance on getting this (3xl) after my orthopedic surgeon said that amazon had a wider size range with more options than the medical supply stores around. Normal XLs don't fit me well and always roll down. I had a torn meniscus several years ago and had surgery to repair it and now I get euflexxa shots but this last time it was not as effective as in the past and my knee has been bothering me more than usual especially with any type of twisting lateral movement. I am very pleased that I found this and now use this when I am training K9s and particularly when I am on the rubble pile (USAR K9 handler) and this WORKS VERY WELL! Seriously, I am quite impressed! It does NOT roll down at all not even with crawling inside small holes in the rubble to hide for the K9s; it stays PUT! The velcro does not move either. I can have it on for 8 hours on the rubble in high temps and I forget it's on once we start working; it really helps support my knee and doesn't slip around even when sweating. It will of course get warm on 90F plus days but I honestly don't notice it until we stop training and I am taking off my PPE.I have 4 other knee support braces, even one from the orthopedic surgeon when I had my surgery, and none of them come even close to how well this works. I've been using this one regularly for a month and I plan to get a few more as eventually I imagine it will start to break down at some point with regular use.

Runs small
I measured my knee as stated on their website, and though I fall well within spec, it's a tight squeeze. I have big thighs and average size calves, and I struggled to get it up over my knee into place. It's quite uncomfortable to walk in, and there's no way I could wear it all day. I bought it for when I'm mowing my lawn with a push mower. I need more stability than my knee gives me, but there is no way I could wear it for more than an hour. If you're looking for something long term, I think a wrap around brace would probably be better than this one that pulls up over the knee. It doesn't stay in place very well unless I tighten the straps to an uncomfortable degree.

I had high hopes but was disappointed.
I have two major problems with this brace - the first is that against bare skin, the brace will slide down my leg if I move while wearing it - solvable by wearing over leggings if not for the second problem - the calf measurements are very close to the thigh measurements (making it too big for the calf) so when I try to tighten the neoprene with the velcro strap it bunches up not really providing much support and contributes to the brace not staying on my leg with movement. I tried folding the neoprene to make a pleat in order to cinch it up, but the thickness of the material doesn't facilitate maintaining the fold. The material seems durable and it was easy to slip on, but the fit prevents any quality support and is therefore useless as a brace.

The Brace would be perfect if it didn’t slip down I’m sending it back immediately ITS A DEFINITE NO FOR ME I need a brace that actually works. I’m giving it a 2 because it came quick and was packaged nice 👍🏽

Best brace for plus size legs!!!
I love this brace. After buying two other braces supposedly for larger legs (that cut into my leg and/or had straps rubbing and chafing on the back side of my knee), I ordered this one to try. I love it. It takes a bit of a tug to get it in place, so if you have weak hands or arms it might not be for you. But if grip isn't an issue, this is amazing. My knee feels supported and stabilized. It's comfortable to extend my leg, bend my leg, walk, do stairs, etc. My thighs are pretty squishy, so I have a very slight muffin top, so to speak, when I walk. But, that's honestly to be expected based on my body type. I'm 5'10" and wear a size 22 typically in jeans, and the 3x fits just right. Based on the measurements I took, though, I'd say add an extra inch to your measurements to be on the safe side, because I was in the middle of the range and I'm not sure it would be as comfortable if I had another inch to work around. ANYWAY - great brace, glad I found it, definitely worth the price.
