This design is so beautiful. Got it to display my nicknacks and art on. Its a large unit. The gold is not super shiny but a nice medium-tone gold. the frame is metal. Takes a little time to assemble. Was pretty easy actually and not that long to do. I just followed the directions. I read that someone said the shelves were cheap however I have no idea what they are talking about. I have many heavy quality furnishings. I found this to be quite nice. Not cheap at all. It looks and feels cold like real stone even though it is not. While it is thinner than real stone, it is still a very good acceptable thickness. The shelf is going on where. very strong once put together. It's a great price. I definitely could recommend it. simply beautiful shelving for the dollar.

Gorgeous piece of furniture. Functional and pretty fir my home office. Be careful during assembly. There is definitely a front and back, which is not made evident by markings on the pieces. Read the instructions carefully, but also make sure you apply some visualization.

This shelf was very easy to assemble. I decided to use black marbling spray paint on the white shelves to make it appear more chic. I cannot wait to decorate!!!

I get so many compliments from guests in our home and from colleagues on my Teams/Zoom calls. Easy to put together and look so nice. Great value for the price as well.

I have never experienced such difficulty with assembly. The metal center bars that you assemble last are too long. Had to hammer in place with palm of my hand and it still scratched up the metal. Directions were not clear, small shelves didn't line up (the last step of directions), had to take center bars out, reverse and try to line up on frame to reattach, scratching up even more through no fault of my own.Amazon does not accept returns of this product which is important to note. I regret not paying more and buying a higher quality product from another retailer.
