Just WOW!
I can’t say enough about this! First of all it has fixed every issue we’ve had and thought it was the internet or the channels themselves. Even had a strange sound thing happening and that doesn’t occur anymore! It’s super fast and the picture quality is amazing! No more need for any other remote as you can turn off and on your tv with this. Easy access buttons to Netflix, Prime, Disney+, and Peacock. So easy to set up and great connectivity! We’re very impressed!

Good Stuff! Value for Money.
So easy to use. No issues migrating accounts to Fire TV Stick. It was so easy. Literally took me all of 8 mns to set up my Prime Video, YouTube, Disney, Netflix accounts and as I type, I am watching the freebie channel Pluto on my Fire TV stick. "Space 1999" straight from 1977. How's that for some fun nostalgia. Hard to believe we ever wore such embarrassing clothes! Anyway, back to the Fire TV Stick. It comes with a remote. The stick itself has an HDMI plug in for your monitor or tv and the other end is usb c - power block. They give you an extender for the HDMI in case you need some extra length to plug and that really helped me. But you will need an electric outlet close enough to your monitor or tv in order to be able to plug in the power block into your electric outlet and also the HDMI input into your monitor or tv source. They also provide 2 batteries for the remote. Right out of the box you'll be up and going. I love the ambient feature. I hope they add some cityscapes and more ambient landscapes. One can even add their own pictures if they like. It's so relaxing to be listening to Audible and have the ambient landscape on. I also love the Alexa support. I don't use "Alexa" as my wake word. I use "Echo," but my Fire TV Stick remote had no problem responding to my "Echo" wake word - no training necessary. Bada Boom, bada bing. You know that moment of dread you have when you have to set up any machine...well, you needn't put yourself through the anxiety. Fire TV Stick does the ugly work for you. The streaming quality is awesome. And considering I've watched at least four different movies since I got it yesterday and haven't paid a dime for those movies...I'm gonna say the Fire TV Stick has been a great value and it is just now coming up on 24 hours that I received it. 4 movies in and delivery was same day prompt! I waited so long to get one. Why I waited, I'll never know. I love my Fire TV Stick. Oh, and did I mention you can take your stick with you? Might not work in all countries. But as a dogsitter I'll just bring my stick to my client's house and don't have to worry about what I want to watch regardless of my client's programming. They don't have to pay for any movies I might watch. Awesome.

Used it to Upgrade My Toshiba Fire TV
I bought a 32"Toshiba Fire TV almost five years ago for my home gym and noticed that apps were loading slower on that TV than they were on my other TVs that had fire sticks and a fire cube. I originally thought that, since the Fire TV had the Fire software built in, there was no way to improve the speed. Then I did some research and found that the TV was compatible with an external Fire stick. I chose to buy this Fire TV Stick 4K Max for its mid-level price point and have not been disappointed with the increased performance vs the TV's Fire software. Setup was easy, the new remote controlled everything and the battery life was improved over the old remote and it now has voice command. I can't say the sound quality of the TV changed much if any, but I wasn't expecting it to. Overall, I'm very happy with the performance of this Fire stick and am especially happy that I didn't have to buy a new TV.

Excellent Performance and Handy Remote Features
The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max is a great streaming device with excellent performance. The remote is very convenient and includes additional buttons for scrolling up and down pages, which makes navigation much easier. The CPU is fast and responsive, apps open quickly, and movies play smoothly with great picture quality. I also really appreciate the included HDMI extender, which helps with installation and improves signal reliability. The only downside I’ve noticed is occasional “white noise” coming from the speakers of my Toshiba TV. This may be TV-specific, but it’s worth mentioning. Overall, despite this minor issue, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max is fast, user-friendly, and a solid upgrade for streaming. P.S. The issue with noise has been resolved after consulting with Amazon Outreach Support. The fix was to change “Audio > Surround Sound” from “Best Available” to “PCM.” Thank you, Amazon!

Works well, but remote doesn't light up.
We live in a rural area. When I moved here 3.5 years ago, there was no cable TV or internet out here, and even cell phone service was not great. Hubby used a hotspot for his desktop computer. He had DirecTV for TV shows, so a dish in the yard. After a year, StarLink finally got a satellite up for our area, and another year later Spectrum showed up. All this background info led to trying out a fire stick about a year and a half ago. Hubby had already cancelled DirecTV because of the price which was going up. Fire stick was a good solution for him, because he could watch Yellowstone, MotoGP motorcycle racing, and Supercross and Motorcross. All these 3.5 years we had a large flatscreen TV in a second family room which was never used because it had no service provider. Enter our second fire stick (Max). As soon as it was hooked up, I started watching movies. I agree with another reviewer that the setup was somewhat arduous, with a lot of saying "no" to extra marketing options (having to say no twice to the same question as though I may have said no by accident but meant yes). Big complaint: who makes a remote controller without buttons that light up? Well, Amazon Fire stick does. Getting shows is 5 star; not being able to see the remote buttons in the dark is about 3 stars.
