These fineliners have a very fine tip as expected. Perfect for journal writing, sketching, or outlining. I write in different colors each day to keep my journal visually interesting. These also work very well for direct drawing, or outlining in ink over pencil drawings etc. I like them very much.The color choices are great too. I chose this set specifically for the colors they provide. Each journal entry will be visible with these colors. I specifically did not want light yellow or light pastel colors that I won't be able to see. These colors are defined and easy to read, and really pop in your drawing (or writing)

These hold up to waterbrush. They smear a tiny bit. But your line work will remain with water added, for the most part. I think if I had waited 15 minutes they would not smear at all. I watered them right away though... so, although that's a great trait, I was a little disappointed that the different shades of colors are so similar theyre almost duplicates. I really wanted shades of colors with this, especially at this price. I will just deal with it and be thankful they weren't lying about being waterproof, like other .marker sellers do. I gave examples of cold and hot press. The hot press is much smoother and they glide easier on it. The cold press tends to dry them out. There were about half that needed to be moistened for 10 seconds to wake them up. No, theyre not dry duds. They just need to be moistened at the tip. I gave a 5 star review because they are lovely colors despite the duplicates. Oh, the right hand of each swatch shows the effect of the waterbrush. You can barely tell the water was added. They smeared less on the hot press paper. It's fabriano paper by the way. Always get excellent paper! Cheap paper pills and degrades with the water and wrinkles and doesn't take color as well.Just buy them. Enjoy! Hope this review helped!

Great quality! I paint miniatures so the micro point on these pens allow me to do extremely small detail writing that stays legible. The colors are bright and do not run. Great set for the price. Why did you pick this product vs others?:Seemed like a great deal and needed the micro point tips in colors.

Pens dry out to quickly. Did not work out for my project.

Fairly good product, but upon receiving I tested each pen with a couple lines. The yellows had black in them. Unusable! Some of the other colors are difficult to get to lay a good solid line. Try at your own risk. I do like the color spectrum, but will look into another brand next time that I purchase color pens.

These are by far the best pens for journaling, scrapbooking and other crafts. These pens are easy to use and they aren’t going to leave a glob of ink on your page. They dry relatively quickly. The fact that they are so fine makes journaling easier.

I got these pens to do intricate work. Come to find out when using them, that 9 out of the 36 pens were dried out. I was really upset and to let you know I would never buy these pens again.
