I recently picked up this book as a complete novice to Drupal, and I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. The step-by-step guidance is brilliantly structured, making it incredibly easy to follow along. The author has a knack for explaining complex concepts in a way that's both insightful and beginner-friendly. What's more, the practical examples provided throughout the book helped reinforce my understanding. This is more than just a guide; it's a valuable companion for any Drupal 10 journey. If you're on the fence about getting a Drupal book, don't hesitate to grab this one!

L'ho letto tutto prima di scrivere questa breve recensione.Consigliatissimo.L'autore affronta tutti i temi in maniera propedeutica partendo da zero fino a raggiungere argomenti avanzati non lasciando scontato nessun concetto. Consigliato sia per chi deve approcciare allo sviluppo dei temi Drupal sia per chi è già esperto.Complimenti

A wonderful book, I already started sailing through its pages.

This book is full of errors. Nothing works. Right at the beginning, when the author tells you to add those extra libraries like webpack and shows the config files, they are plain wrong. If you try to install and run it, there are errors over errors. Everything is based around a tailwind.css file, but that file is nowhere to be found. So you are just stuck right at the beginning and cannot even start to follow along with this book. There obviously hasn't been any form of quality control. No one has ever tested the code that they printed. It's just a waste of my money.

The book is not for the novice Drupal user. You need to have deep knowledge and understanding of at least 6 other technologies (Docker, Composer etc.) that has nothing to do with Drupal Theming.All I needed is the knowledge and information of creating a Drupal Theme from scratch, and I got a book that wants to make me an expert programmer with other skills and knowledge that I don't want to know and don't need to know. I needed a "cookbook" for Drupal theming and got a book with tons of redundant info.the explanations are not good, some are quite clumsy and all the first few chapters made me tired and bored, that eventually I put the book aside and start reading books of Wordpress theming - much better and simpler.I don't understand why the author wants to force the reader to use development environment that he doesn't want or need for his specific usage. That's for the user to decide what to use. The author just need to give the knowledge and info for the book purpose - creating a Drupal theme from scratch, and that's it.Summary: a waste of time and money. I looked forward getting the book, and the disappointment is huge.
