Good Stepper
This is the seond one I have owned. The first one lasted six years. I have no complaints. I would recommend this stepper!!

Compact, great workout.
I am enjoying the stepper. I mainly use it to top off my steps for the day when I fall short. By the time I watch a show from start to finish, I have wrapped up my steps for the day. It has just enough tension and fits easily on a corner.

Things the instructions don't tell you
I've only had this item for a little while and so far, now that I know how it works, I like it.PROS:I didn't break the bank, which was important to me. It fits under my Veri-table well. It is low impact, which is important to me. It seems sturdy, which is also important to me.CONS:What the instructions don't tell you is how to actually get the counter to work. IT ONLY works when the height knob is in its HIGHEST setting. Anything less and the magnets (which are not mentioned anywhere in the instruction booklet at all) will not pass each other properly and the counter will not turn on. I had to contact customer service, who responded quite quickly--I appreciated that--to find out. It was a bit of back and forth, but eventually, I figured it out. The other thing, for my item at least, is the tension/height knob does NOT stay in place. It unscrews itself and reduces the tension so the step tracker stops working because the magnets (which are nowhere in the booklet..have I mentioned that?) do not pass each other properly. It's a cascade effect. I have had to rig up a paperclip to keep it from turning and lessening the tension with every step. Either I need to get a nut that fits or one that was supposed to be in the box was not. The counter will also NOT work if you don't take complete steps as in if you don't go all the way up and down. Now that I have it working the way I need it to, I would recommend it. I would also recommend to the manufacture that they update their instruction booklet to include the specifics I mentioned. I did let customer service know that, too, but we all know how far those conversations go.

Good workout!
I've been using the stepper for a few weeks, about 30 min. each time, and I love it! I go at the fastest pace I can, safely, on the unit. I usually work out on an elliptical at my gym, but lately I haven't had time to go to the gym, so I bought the stepper. The unit doesn't take up much space at all, is light enough to pick up and move around. I have a spot for it in our mud room, set it up across from a counter where I watch shows on Fire Tablet while I work out. I pair it with a resistance strap.I did have to contact the seller after one week b/c the interface would indicate I had stopped even though I hadn't, and the seller immediately responded to me, sent me a new interface (which is easily replaceable, it just pops in and out). As it turns out, the problem was a simple fix: after using the stepper for a few minutes, the interface wiggles out of it's holder just a bit, so the system thinks you've stopped. I'll fix the issue by using black duct tape to firmly secure the interface in its holder.Stepper was usable right out of the box. I love this thing b/c I can get a quick workout at home!!

Better than expected
Hold on to countertop if you are a beginner. Tension is very adjustable. This is great for days that one cannot go outside due to weather. Basically assembled. Heavy duty structure. Non slip.

Disappointed
The problem I find with most of these are they can't hold up very well. After my last one started grinding metal I was forced to buy a new one this time spending more money hoping it'd be better. Judging by the state of it now on only 4 days of use I MIGHT get another week out of this. I use this as a cardio exercise for an hour a day 5 days a week and we'll stuff is already grinding and cracking. For over 50 dollars this is kinda disappointing. I'm not abusing the machine or any of that so if you are planning to get this and use it regularly I wouldn't.For VERY basic use I would recommend it. It's a conferrable fit and is easy stepping up and down it's not tough or has a ton of ressistence. Hope this helps .Update it finally broke lasted about a month garbage product never heard back I'm over it.

Hard to depress pedals
I'm 66 years of age. The pedals are tight and I have to put a lot of force depressing the pedals.I wrote to the seller to see if the stepper is adjustable to loose the tension. I was advised no to any adjustments but that after a few minutes it will loosen up due to fluid in the machine.I'm going to keep it for awhile to see if this will work and I just need time for my body to adjust. If anyone has suggestions, hope you can contact me to let me know.

Better than I thought
I received this quicker than stated. It took a bit to get the steps to move. I had to push very hard but now it works perfect. It is very sturdy and solid. I use this while I watch tv.
